SKY-I like reading your posts you seem like a good trader so please don't take my opinion the wrong way its just my opinion. With the E/U bound to go lower and hearing about the Swiss losing money trying to prop up the euro/chf who knows how low it can really go. I completely understand that it looks great on the charts being at the low ect and looks cheap but make sure you dont loose your shirt if your lottery ticket doesnt win. Its seems your whole reasoning is based on intervention, i hope it happens for your case but what if it doesnt? Where are you placing your SL? I think buying usd/cad looks like a better bet from here just my honest opinion for what its worth.

EU is different.. Take 4H chart place BB 20/2 on that and Sell top band,

buy lower band, that's all you have to do. I don't see no trend here so far

not down not up.. It's flat 1.3450-1.38+ wide and more likely 1.3550-1.38,

that's all.. I don't buying everything in 1 piece.. Like Stocks.. Buy 100-200

shares

on...

I am not sure about round bottom as it indicates accelerated upward trend, but it is still in the channel on 2 different graphs

Good morning all. Lot's of movement while I was sleeping I see....I hope you all made pips. I got right out of sync with the markets yesterday so I decided to stay out for the day. All my trades got stopped out at be so there was no damage, but I was taught to stay out when I'm out of sync with the market, and it's great advise, so I did!!!

Looking at the charts now, I see the round bottom is crumbling and I still hold my belief that 3410 is well possible. If that happens, 30xx should be available....and if that happens....well....we'll see!

The wheels are falling off......

Greece Prime Minister Papandreou set a one-week deadline for EU to craft the mechanism for the financial aid and said he may turn to IMF otherwise. German Chancellor Merkel's chief finance spokesman Meister said yesterday that "nobody apart from the IMF" has the instruments to push for Greece to restore its "capital-markets access" and attempting a Greek rescue without the IMF "would be a very daring experiment." The comments signaled a rift with Merkel and European leaders ECB Trichet, Luxembourg's Jean-Claude Juncker and France's Sarkozy. Also, it's believed there are now at least three other Eurozone nations that are open to the idea of calling the IMF if needed, including Finland, the Netherlands and Italy.

Rounded bottoms are not worthy of anybody's attention in a down trend. Only novice traders believe that a rounded bottom is a reversal, statistically it has no merit.

That's right, it does.

I'm looking at Feb 8 as the start, and at the moment it's still intact, so there's no change at the moment. It's in the balance right now as we are more or less at the Feb 8 level, however, todays daily candle isn't too encouraging if this round bottom is going to 'produce the goods'....

I have never bought into the thinking that 'round bottom = reversal'......but, it is worth bearing in the back of ones mind. For me this whole consolidation period has been a tremendous pain in the ass, but a good test of patience and MM....so all in all, it's been good for me.

Patience is a virtue. So far it's beaten last pullback by 3 days (depending on the count criteria)

Next time we hit 1.3430-40 zone it will drop like a stone, this failure below 1.4 will be intermediate top for months to come. So you might as well get used to holding this short.
