Didn't Goldman say the Pound was going to the 1.80's this year? They said it a few months ago when it was looking pretty good in the 1.60's, well before it lost the 1.50 handle! lol

I don't know about you guys, but I will wait until monday/thursday and decide to short or long...

1,37 will be an important level IMO, so I need to see PA around it.

for long term trades:
daily close below 1,37 - short with tp @ 3370
daily close above 1,37 - long with tp @ 3950

I'll still make short term trades but still no "foreseeing" for me!!

the only analysis that has 1.45 as a target is based on the monthly chart retrace at 61.8% fibo.

sounds like goldman is sitting on too many longs

I just wanted to know which may be better ou more accurate...
Most just use an indy or site to draw them up...if you want to calculate it's easy. Do a google search and you'll see a ton of sites with the formula to calculate S/R...

Also, the reason you'll find different pivots for different folks is just because some people calculate off of london, some off of New york, some asia and so forth...pivots are always related to O,H,L,C,R of the day/week/month so it can vary based on time zone.

I was using this one:

if you check it, you'll see diferent formulas, and they are not related to timezone...

I was just curious if there is one of them better then the standard...

Go look at bottom 2008 and how that formed . If DJ , which is on steroids right now , takes off next week , there could be a massive short squeeze. EU 1.4200 or higher could be potential for next week seeing as the sentiment is so bearish and once the squeeze is on the sellers this is going to rip

1.3850 taken out .... see you at 1.4100.

Those who were rude to me last week (being Tonyo) can then say he was sorry for being a dick.

As stated I am buying off 1.3550 and will be buying dips till we see 1.4100 and take it from there.

Why have I not posted this week ? I do not need to keep posting same shit.... still same plan .

Sorry I have to say this.

NOW everyone is bullish to 1.4000 ? and Goldman saying 1.4500.

I have been saying this for 3 weeks now. I know of a couple of guys that have also been accumulating huge positions.

If you really want to learn what I saw and why I called this please go back in postings about volumes on the DX and futures on the weekly.

There is an odd chance EU rips even higher than 1.5000. DO not ask me the whats whys or fundie reason. I have no clue.

All I know is that the DX printed the highest volume EVER on a weekly doji at 80 about 3 weeks back and since then we have had distribution and also on EU same thing the volumeso n weekly futures at 1.3500 have been 2 x as high these last 5 weeks as the 2008 bottom .

Maybe the whole Greece fiasco was fabricated. to drive price lower . I mean look at the DJ .. recession ? what recession ?

I've received a mail this morning from someone from Morgan Stanley saying that the whole rise we've seen this week was mostly used for hedge funds to start selling future indexes, buying puts , etc..

And yesterday a big institutional funds boughts huge puts (dec 2010) on the S&P & Nasdaq (for billions of $)

Something definitely not right...what do you think ?

Dec 2010 is along time away.

BY then eu could see 1.4500 and then 1.2500.

I will check out some volumes on the weekly and daily futures charts on weekend and let you know if i see any thing that stands out

I have noticed that the DJ has been rising on really low volumes , but it did this for 6 months last year for 2500 points. Long term I do have the feeling that this is very tech bubble like and a much deeper correction is due , but for now all bad news dips are being boought into and all good news is causing 20 point spikes on s&p that are not even having any sell interest.

Eventually ( do not know when ) it will all end in tears for the average retail investor that does not lock in profits.
