DislikedHave you checked out the Mt5 yet Godfrey?
I gaver a whirl, nothing more I could do with it than with Mt4...
In time I am sure it will kick but for right now...I am good with running all old skewl...
heh.Ignored
The thing is, every indicator or EA written in mt4, will have to be rewritten to work in mt5. Unless metatrader comes up with a converter, which does not seem likely, it's not going to be pretty.
I can tell you, it's not the easiest thing to convert an indicator from mt4 to mt5, unless you have a background in programming. But we are still months away from Brokers moving to MT5, as it is still in Beta. But I know its coming, so I set aside a little time each day to famiiarize myself with the new language code.
Although there is some cool stuff you can do with indicators, like multi-colored indcators that change color gradually with the intensity of the trend, the main benefit would appear to be to those that develop EA's. Much more efficient code , and those that trade multiple markets. Eg. oil, corn etc.
