traders any think cable has made it daily low and may retrace to 15380 area later today cause iam really married to my long trade avg 15380 amount 16.5$ position iam new bee

None! However I do use trend lines from time to time....

The way I trade is a bit eccentric. Ill try to explain.

I assume the worse of traders (even myself sometimes), I.e. I check cot reports and positioning stats regularly. I analyze accordingly and plot points that show where the crowd will bail on their positions. This is where I try to jump aboard and collect a few pips on their misery.

I.e. its well known that many are still holding their positions from 1.58. Being a trader that dwelled on hope before, I know I would have bailed sub 1.53. For this reason, to me at least it was pretty much a given that the market would dive to 1.52 to clear out stops... esp with +60% long.

9/10 times the market will follow the path of least resistance.

Look at positioning levels when the yen was at 87...remember the "spike" sub 85 that took out stops.

Remember the USD/CHF sub 1.00 ... remember the plunge to take out stops.

There are exceptions however, recall when USD/CAD was at 1.0250 and positioning levels were extreme, well the crowd got it right that time.


Enough blah blah...its how I trade, just gotta be able to process all the above on the fly and not have emotions. If your wrong, get out... that simple.

as a newbie better to give "?" (let the expert answer) than make a hedging analysis/opinion (if bla..bla..bla.. then up, if bla..bla..bla then down)..next week i come to you and say "AS I SAID TO YOU LAST WEEK....."

i have rule of thumb..

look at ADX(14), if trending up that is the main trend..

i know some one who always act like that jem??? so cocky even give a general thing (plus floating so many..., ) and still say "look i told you last week" (capek dehhh....)

Learn from Dr. D, currently under compression process on M1 --> move up and down between 1.5285 (S3) - 1.5335 (S2).
