1500$ a month with equity 5000$ , it is Possible.. but it depend on how good is your skills and experience. But 99% will be failed for newbie to try this..

hello to everyone
i've been trading close to 6 months now. started with demo, moved to a 25$ micro, then reinvested another 27$, moved to 100$ of course gain and lose here and there, swiped clean all, then to the bigger amount, deposited 1,000$ to my account, got a bonus from my broker with 500$. 2 1/2 months onward fromo the 1K investment, yesterday I tried to make a summary of my performance:
From the sounds of it you are not settled in any manner of trading, you lack an edge that can be exploited and you are trading on a hope. The results speak from themselves. Adding more money to the account will not fix poor trading. You are best to sit back and work out exactly what you are doing, what you need to be doing then get a demo and do it, solid for at least 6 months with positive results. If you cant get your ideas to work on a demo then there is no point in going live hoping they will suddenly happen.
Total Trading Profit: 700$
Total Loss Trades: 1,600$
Reamaining Balance: 600$
Now, I am confused, did I do well or I performed crap during these times. I am looking forward to giving up my 8-5 work someday and focus on day trading (God willing), for the sake of a more financially rewarding future for my family, myself, my friends and a charity I dream to begin.
Well after it all you have more losses than gains so in that respect the answers speak for themselves. As I mentioned above you need to move backwards and start from the drawing board. There is always the great dream of being uber rich and having money for this and that but that is a dream that is very unlikely going to become a reality. Not meant to be harsh, just realistic.
I need encouragement or admonition from more senior and experienced traders. There are days I am on cloud nine from winning trades, there are times I am down on the drain from blowing off my account.
You will know when you have found you way because most of the emotional ups and downs dont happen to the level you are talking. Sure there is still emotion but you know to put it aside 5 secs after the event and move on. Blowing an account is usually due to reckless trading. I know very few people who take small risks and blow accounts (1-2%). The fraternity usually belongs to those who are in the 5-10% area. Check to make sure that you are not in the latter and if you are then treat your capital, no matter how small it may seem, like gold.
Anyone's thoughts will be welcome with a smile.
I hope this is recieved in a manner that is constuctive. It is meant to sound as it is but some need a dose of reality to get them heading in the right direction. Heres a smile to say I care
