Hello CTIC, I have been trading for about 6mo.. I am using a demo account still. I have been reading all of your post as well as a few others in the room. I want to learn fibonacci can you give any advise as to the best place to look and learn. Thanks in advance for your time.

1.58 or 1.68? 1.68 seems a little out of reach for right now, many levels of resistance between here and there, unless Bernake declares that the U.S. is declaring bankruptcy.

I originally got interested in them by a book titled Technical Analysis from A to Z by Steven B. Achelis. The book doesn't really teach you everything you need to know but it has the basics of many different techniques (hence A to Z). I researched quite a bit, but the biggest teacher I had was trial and error. Like learning to ride a bike, I fell many times, but got back up and tried again.

You can research it on the web too, and I have the way I draw them in my link in my signature.

The fibs always land on the supports and resistances. So if you notice that the PA is always blowing right through your major fib lines, you have them drawn wrong.

I also like using other methods in conjuction with the fibs, to help make me feel more confident in my trades. Dr. D's compression pattern along with Magix and EOhater 200 SMA seem to work well with them. If you have questions feel free to drop a post in my other thread or send me a PM.

"76" has to crack, for further down,
(re: Supports & Resistances);
And i want to see a double test of it-
As well... (And BREAK!) !

However, i'm staying w/'LONDON'...
She's usually is headed one way for the kill,
w/o some other kind of confirmation(s).

Agreed. I do believe the longer term move will be a long. The reason I said first up then down is simple. First test was the fib test. Second test was the classic buy up before Mervin King spoke and sent it flying down. Third test as seen by the chart is bouncing off the 200 SMA which convienently is at the 5750 mark.

In short: Play up, scalp down. Although this week I found myself scalping all the time.

We may get it. I do feel that when we finally break this channel it will be with an up move, but I don't think we will break channel yet.

in my view gu wi;; try to retest low one more time. if fails than we might see going lower if not will see longer period of bull move. All i can see now is triple top
