That is completely false...you just cannot hold a hedge past the end of the day. It will close the oldest orders first automatically so you only have trades open in 1 direction.

NFA rule 2-43

At the customer's request, an FDM may offset same-size transactions even if there are older transactions of a different size but must offset the transaction against the oldest transaction of that size.

Thus a hedge......

At the end of the day...and only if they are the same lot size. If they are a different lot size not a hedge.

Sorry yes, lot size does not matter. Myabe it doesn't.. I don't really know..never tested it.

May not carry..means carry over night...past the end of the day. Hedge all you want all day.

Why are you profiling me anyway..did I do something wrong? Or are you just bored...Try Scalping it is really fun.

That is done by the choice of the broker and the broker can revoke that choice at any time.

Correct, but by rule, you should be able to scalp intraday US. Why would you be with a broker who didn't give their customers the benefit of the rule?

Most brokers gave you the choice to transfer out the account to a foreign entity, such as the UK. In my opinion that is better because then you can hold the hedge for an unlimited amount of time.

Yes, going out of the country for sure gives you the most flexiblilty. Especailly if the next 1:10 law passes. Then we can say goodbye to all brokers in the US I would imagine. Sad really.

The only thing the U.S. are leaders in is the Death Spiral.

Yeah...I think it is many years away, first will be the USA, Canada and Mexico, the Middle east countries in the GCC, the Asian countries, Etc, Etc,...

Really there is a long ways to go, but hopefully I will see another 65 years, so who knows what I will see.

I don't think anyone will ever see a single world currency.
