I wanted to thank you the other day when you discussed...
"Taking Your Profit's"... I wholeheartedly agree w/that concept now.
I tryed "my way" and garnerd only 40 out of a 100 pip move.
"Why do that," -i remember you recanting, -about taking profits.
Sure i believe she's eventually gonna break, maybe -but maybe not today.
Today i got 110 out of the 120 or so i could have gotten from my entry.
Took The profit in front of me... Thank You CTiC for your input here.

Like I have said in this forum time and time again, if you notice every candle, or at least 98% of them, retraces back into the previous candle. This is true from the 1 minute up to the monthly chart. Why not bank on the profits wait for the retrace and get back in. Here is a little example. Lets say that we know G/U will have 5 days of down candles each 100 pips long past previous close, retraces are 50 pips. You hold the five days and close, I close each day and get back in. (Simplified for ease of explaination).
(You)
100*5 = 500 pips (Good trade)
Me
Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 5
100 pips 150 pips 150 pips 150 pips 150 pips
Total 700 pips better trade
In addition, if some unexpected event happens you are protected by not being in the market.
Obviously there is many ways to trade, and mine may not be the best, but it works for me, so why should I change it.

Yeah, 'wholeheartedly agree, i'm glad i couldn't "Jump-In," -around
or- BEFORE "Big Ben" time 3-3:30 etc, because i couldA swore,
she was gonna pop more "North"!
-But again,
the big thing is you really don't need to know where she's going,
you just have to line up your edge, and believe what the mkt's done,
and is telling you. -We had rejection up above today, not marking
another high above. Then the P.A. just started gradually falling.
-And the Charts were showing it.
'Definitely agree on not having to be in the mkt all those days,
and protecting those gains- And esp. the Retrace(s). !

Since i'm in the 'TelcO' industry,
I labeled them small to large in cable colors,
Blue, Orange, Green, Brown, Slate...
I definitely SAW the Compression today,
-And the pip's were garnered, in the release!
(In fact my crude chart post was in white, off of your ema's).
I use another service which is a well known composite of such,
And am now using the candlesticks as much as possible.

Hey bud, hope your doing well mate!
I'm finally starting to make some money with my trading, lost a bit at the end of the year, not a huge amount, but enough to eat my profit up and piss me off!
Worst thing was I rarely got the direction wrong, it was my SL that would let me down, far to tight, going for the longer term moves now with a larger target in mind and instead of just having a 30 point stop, I really think about where I put it and dont chicken out if I go into the negatives, now all I need to master is my entries!
Looking good right...
I don't know about 5800. I had taken profit & done for this month.
