All is good... 1.6410 is as high as I am seeing this going.... or thereabouts

EURUSD is now turning very bearish, even moving below the 1.4270s mark we held during the sideways action.

GBP is holding up finr till yet, but how long could it stand a USD rally? Not much it seems

1.60 and lower?

Good job.

I took the 1m push upward for nearly 30 pips.
Didn't take the other. Had some work to do away
from the platform and came back to see the drop.
Should have just set a trade and tight trailing stop
above the 90 level (which was the previous recent
1m high) as I then saw the 5m pulling together.
Managing it I could have netted ~30.

Went golfing and 5hrs later it's still in the same range.

Everything is so choppy... giving me vertigo.

The 1m has again formed and moved downward which
could help the 15m reach a tighter compression from
which a bigger move may occur later in any direction.

Dr. D,

I don't know if you caught my post last night where I showed the chart witht the EMA pattern and fibonacci lines. Right before the big spike up and following drop down every EMA line was at a fib line. That is what I have been watching recently to determine strong correlations between your method and mine.
Ignored

I did. It's good to see there is correlation. Still, with
enough lines drawn in various TF's there should be.

Wish mine was a method. Still only an observation that
must be joined with and could help any trading system
as a timing signal.

Dr. D.

I hate odd moves like this out of no where under low volume conditions

often they can be noves to mark price down / up so pros can get a position at discount .

These kind of moves hsould be looked at with suspicion. I am short eu and am trailing stop

It's fallen because a "perfect" Gartley was completed at 1.64573 from the move up from 1.58953. This means this will crash and burn lol. So, as Mal has been saying for a while now, this was the last opportunity as far as I'm concerned to sell at this price. Parity by October/November.

It's not a Odd move, it's a normal low volume which means they can move it the direction they like quite easily downtrend.

Completely 100% the Normal for this time of night

I have looked for a while on yout EMA's lines and i like how they look! What kind of Ema's numbers you use? Automatically i get 10, but what are all the lines parameter's?
Thanks

Hi Endrju,

The specific EMA's are not significant provided they cover
a good range ~(1 - 150 periods) and are evenly spaced.

It is the pattern that is formed that is important as they
slowly gather, converge and should they compress and
pack tightly together which very often occurs, a rapid
unidirectional and often vertical price action with marked pip
movement will imminently ensue (relative to the TF).

They produce a timing signal to alert one to a change which
will inevitably occur from ranging consolidations into
breakout trend movements. (relative to their TF's).

I am observing that they build upon one another transferring
their energy from lower TF's to higher TF's and smaller
pip movements into larger amounts.

I happen to use 9 EMA's (applied close):
[(6), 18, 36, 54, 72, 90, 108, 126, 144]

Unrelated to the compression / release phenomenon...
as major areas of S/R and target zones to respect, I throw
in the often used 200EMA (Magix's method and others) and a
1440EMA on a 1m which translates into a daily data. (Turveyd's
and Ctic's methods). I'm also looking at the 800SMA (Mystic
Diver's / Rob Booker's retracement method which finds that
in any TF, the PA will always return to the 800SMA within an
average of 250 - 350 bars or candles (since the last cross)...
and at 500+ bars or candles it becomes almost magnetic and
should influence trade selections and directions (per TF).

***a point of clarification: PA doesn't follow MA's... MA's are
a reflection of PA data.... but for our purposes we say it does.

Dr. D.
