Am I missing something here? My 1 winner, 1 loser will total to the same value as your 2 winners, no? If having a run of "winning" trades makes you happy, fair enough. For me, it's just the bottom line that counts.
He IS flat. He already booked a profit when he made those two trades at slightly different...
I agree, he is flat, and if he holds the positions longer term, he will lose money b/c of rollover interest...broker will pay you less than you will receive in interest for the same pair. It's psychological advantage for some that don't like the look of a losing trade, although the equity is same, but for longer term holders they actually lost money on rollover interest, and that's the way it is. So if you are doing it to have a string of winning trades, you actually would have lost money compared to closing the position and reopening.

Thats true & recheck charts in details now . No falling wedge ,neutral in nature ( or symmetrical triangle ) can break any direction . so mixed singal & ultimately may play within the wedge/triangle before the up in daily chart ,so I called as nothing speciall for bull in the morning time . next sell off ( fear already gripped bulls ,need it go firing level to start fobia ) & the bear ( as i believe it still in wave4 ( perhaps no 5 th fail yet ) consolidation it ultimately to bear whatever up can go & market markers perhaps read chart as such too ?)

From fundamental analysis my thought is that, EURUSD will go asideways and with support at 1.44 for the next 2 weeks. Any comments?

right now eu is in a channel ...pretty simple it seems , although due to bias mind set i have been having issues trading this week and channel are normally my thing

here are a few different patterns that can be seen in an 8 hour eu chart right now..... long may work ok as there sure seem to be someone defending 1.4300

However i noticed a very low volume up day friday on DJ and last chart below is dx daily for end of day friday . DJ drops usd will be flight to safety. If nfp was really usd bearish why was volume lower than the prior 4 days on a down day , and friday did not break thursdays low. , looks more like reaccumualtion to me on dx then selling interest

however next 1 month we could be range bound.

I am treating dx as a bull flag and not a down ward trend. As long as dx does not go under 76.5 i am thinking eu fro swing trade is sell off 1.4440 / 1/4560 are.

Look forward everyday to reading your posts for months now and learning loads from your great insight into the market and of course VSA. I am a short term trader using a strat I was taught from the FX500 club 2 years ago and am more than happy with what Im doing but am finding VSA more and more interesting which gives me a longer term view of what to "expect" from the market.

Did I see you mention you originated from the North West England?? Im in Southport.

Debt default may accelerate in 2010 as countries start defaulting on debt, IMF debt. Inspired by Argentina's previous debt default a decade prior, in 2010 Greece and Iceland default first, then other nations may follow suit until a mad rush out of central bank debt becomes a political trend.

Inflation was caused by an excessive debt creation, so an elimination of debt by default will bring them deflation. Their only alternative for growth being hyperinflation, creating more debt stimulus. But if they are not able to borrow anymore - then the road to hyperinflation is closed.

Russia and other BRIC nations are moving to shore up wealth, buying gold and diversifying their currency holdings away from Treasuries and U.S. Dollars. This indicates the probability that they will soon drop the dollar as the world reserve currency if not entirely. Russia has in several instances stated its desire for a “world currency” and even world government, just as political elements of the U.S. and Europe have in the past. I believe what we see unfolding is a scenario much like that of WWII, except this time, the U.S. sits in the position of the Weimar Republic, its currency ready to hyperinflate, it's treasury on the edge of insolvency, its debt holders becoming its enemies, and its government looking for any excuse to dilute personal liberties for the “greater good”. Starting to sound like Skyzer.

Long gold after it broke it's pivot and showed signs of reversion to bull trend from previous 1225 levels. Watching for 1140 and 1150, 1500.

Isn't the dollar index bouncing below 76.5 currently?

I've never really looked at the dollar index and don't really understand fully how it affects the forex markets...although I do understand that it is basically a value of the USD against a group of major currency pairs together...?

very nice analysis fonto . i just want to put here few thoughts . wave 4 to finish at 1.45 area to go down to form wave5 . wave 4 is abc correction . wave c of 4 is in action to get to 1.45 area
