I had tg 2.0 ... then with the new one coming out I like the scanner and the fact that signals are put on the bars as they happen

typically I just scan my regular charts to find vsa set ups , buto ne thing i do like about the new tg 4.0 is the on bar set ups.

here is 30 min I tuned into this morning with trend already down on daily just about shit my pants when i saw all those nice little red arrows at 1.6050

The 5k for tg4.0 is really steep now though ....it is good but not 5 k good.

I am using V3.0 which I got at a discount, but they want another $900 to upgrade to V4.0. I just don't think that v4.0 could be significantly better than V3.0. Tradeguider is a very expensive learning tool but I think that my VSA learning curve has been much faster because of it!
As always your time and input is very much appreciated. Have a fantastic New Year celebration...Go $!
Thanks!

Can you elaborate a bit for the slower of us? I think you are showing no volume on the upwards/sideways action, but im not sure....
Just focus on the pips. The rest is insignificant.

In part, yes your correct. It shows the high volume trades (1200, 900, 800, 500's) that brought the price down. It then shows lower volumes with price drifting higher to sideways.

It also tells me that its a decent size player for a $50 to $120 million trades, most likely SM

Finally, the time of day, 16:00 in the UK.

In the end... it was pros and not retail traders. The pros had (have) unfinished business.

Hope that helped,
BR

Just want to update even i'm so late. This post has been made when all trader try to load their buying at daily pivot. Glad 2nd TP taken. Didnt have opportunity to post due to INFRACTION received from FF.

My membership at Forex Factory has been temporarily suspended by a senior member yesterday. Today glad received release notice from FF with 1 point warning.

Really frustating for what happened. Later, not post so much and lower my post tone is a good idea.

Happy trading and Cheers!

Expecting some sort of retrace to a pivot point on the day is reasonable to expect, but the bottom side support range on that is 1.5746.

Using this little chart would only seem to be a piece of a puzzle, and if you were to see the rest, it might make more sense. To me...like you, not so much in it's current state.

After an exact 200 pip free fall from top to bottom, assumption of a higher high at this point, though not impossible, not as likely.

From here, we are bucking resistance every tick skyward, and after todays fall, longside chart attempts would seem more like catching a chainsaw then just a falling knife.

If you have a system that is working...stick with it, let other price point prophets scream from the rooftops, without chart support, a pic like that is about as relevant as if it were a picture of monkey's flinging poop.

Hello everyone,

Been an unexciting movement in GU for the past week or so, managed to get pips here and there but nothing major, currently no open position. However, seeing the daily chart, possible for GU to test 1.6105-10 level before going down. Looking to go down to 1.5900 before testing last October's low of 1.5706. Any call/advice on that anyone? Cheers.

Good movement yesterday on GU, tested 5900 n broke without much resistance. Looks holding well at 5880ish. Looks like going for a retracement to pivot at 1.5945. Lets see if it can hold there, otherwise, another freefall day ahead. Happy trading everyone.

Have not changed my long term view. Closed shorts from 6600, 6500 and 6400 level. Out at 5880 to 5890.

Still holding short from 1.6100 and will consider additional positions if there is a decent re-trace. or next year, I will be looking for short entries.

Take care,
BR
