EAs are the fastest and easiest ways to lose money. If they really worked think that retail investors would be buying them in droves ? No .. why is simple. Because they would not be on the market to buy in the 1st place. Note how Goldman scahs is so guarded of their HFT software that that Russian fellow ran off with .They set the feds on him. Why would one shares something for a lousy $100 that turns 50 k to 5million in 2-3 months.

What big is talking of is hFT .... not an EA ... taking advantage of subtle price spreads

Experts Advisors are great, they are the absolute best way out there to completely blow a good account FAST!!! In 6 years I have tried many. I have a library of about a thousand and at times I had 10 - 12 going at once. None worked and that is all I will say about E.A.'s.

It's not impossible to create an EA that's profitable in the long run.... just insanely difficult to do. That's why you don't see many successful and giant funds out there. I mean if hard core quants can't come up with something you know its gotta be hard to do.

At that time I feel strong downside pressure, I was thinking that S1 5940 will be fallen, so I made order 10pips after 5940 with SL 10pips before 5940..and then, price down to 5930 hit my order and bounce up hit my SL..BTW thanks for your comment, I will learn from this case..

Just wanna share simple trade ever based on S/R. Eventhough not so much pips which is just +64 pips profit but it really nice and simple.

Buy 1.5931 SL 1.5910 TP 1.5995

I saw Oanda chart after going high to 5995 then closed lower at 5942 (13 pips from your opened)..
