This looks as though it head faked up and is consolidating for a run down. The CCI has peaked and rolled over, too. But we trade what we see. It has not yet broken out either way, and could go either way when it does. Ep short is shown by blue line. Ep long would be a bit lower than where the red SL line is.

I like Domas's answer. Do not miss the importance of when Domas says on his chart "if this wave would have gone up the entry would have triggered." The SonicR is about wave analysis. No waves, no trade. If the market is not swinging, then sit out the boring waltz and wait for the jitterbug to get started again. There is no rule, but if I place an entry order, and it is not filled within a few hours, I will kill the order (like I did today with this EJ long), and wait for another set up. Like the Raghee Horner quote someone posted here last week - you do not have to be in every move. For what its worth, there is no SonicR logic to your proposed entry.

This is what I've been trying to figure out, the same high/low can be seen as High -> Low -> LH which can be a prelude to long signal or (ignore the high) Low -> HL which can be seen as a short signal... Or if we take consideration of the previous wave, the high can be seen as HL..

Is it gut feeling/bias that drives sonicker to go long or short? Or am I missing something?

You aren't missing a thing - a SonicR long set up can be a prelude to a short and vice versa.

Ok, is this where the dragon tunnel comes to play? I suppose the way to make sure is to see what happen next..

Btw.. the Sonic v3 manual mentioned EMA set to 89 period (I set it on close) as one of the indicator, but it didn't really explain when it should be used.

Based on trade postings I've seen so far it seems that indicators we need for Sonic is just, 34 EMA on close,high,low, CCI and that's it.. after that is analysis combined with experience from other previous trades and perhaps other kind of knowledge which by the looks of it, play about 25-30% of the total decision making...

Does that sond correct? I'm just trying to put the pieces together..

You need to show a chart with labels indicating what you are talking about, such as the one attached. Getting in sync with the wave can take some practice, and sometimes you just have to draw a line thru a series of what you think are waves when they are nothing more than ripples. Sometimes there are smaller waves within a single leg of a large wave. And sometimes a breakout can be on one of these smaller waves while you are watching a larger wave still developing. It takes practice. No one is perfect and no one gets them all right all the time.

Looks like things are in suspended animation until FO or LO. I guess the prices of the various pairs are just where the big players want them, and until the big players get their fill, they aren't going anywhere.

Two day fed meeting starts tomorrow, so there will probably be nothing but whipsaws and losses until Wednesday afternoon. This might be a good time to take a couple of days off.

I am just looking at your Reset pic and it strikes me that this is basically looking at the waves from a micro and macro viewpoint.

Doing this may make for a later entry but it seems it will be a confirmed entry as the original high is broken rather than jumping in at the lower High in the EP2.


I mean, instead of making the second EP into a separate wave is it feasible to step back and look at this setup from the macro viewpoint?

This is something I am working on to keep me out of bad entries, as TAH says knowing when to look at the bigger picture is important.

Hello, I'm new in this thread, yesterday I took 2 trades with this system and both went OK with +70 pips . I still reading all the thread (already in page 50 jeje) but now I saw in sonic's picture that he is not using enymore QQE and that he change the volume indicator for another one, where I can download it and see its explanation? thanks

How do you use larger waves in your analysis?

If I see a Sonic Wave appear where I have the TP1 level marked with the Sonic wave, does it add to the reasons to enter? Smaller Sonic in a larger Sonic at resistance.

Just trying to get a feel for what all to look at.

Edit:T/P 2 hit. All in +36pips. In hindsight. TP2 was way too conservative.

Would someone who is using TAH's Daily pivots, please upload a screen shot of EU with the cursor over the Daily pivot so that price can be clearly seen, as in my screen shot? Just doing some final tweaking and checking of the pivots on this server.

It might not be possible to align because different brokers has different serve times. So the pivots will not be the same across brokers. Best is to use one that starts at 00:00 GMT.

It should be and we should all have the daily pivot at the exact same area, if we all have it setup correctly in the input section.
For example, I am in Japan which is GMT+9 hours & so is my broker, so I have it set for +9 hours. At least that is my understanding of the reason TAH & Domas spent so much time in creating it, so that we all have the Daily pivots in the same ball park.

I know DD previously said "Don't sweat the small stuff" but this is not SMALL stuff. Obviously if PA is above or below the pivot, it is going to be critical to any trade.
