The eur/usd still no trade for me and the professionals. We are still looking at the other chat to see a good entry. I think that there is no news coming out today to influence the market so let us both watch out for a good oversold or overbought signals that has been working for long or what are you seeing traders?

Forex: News from Dubai support the euro and pound, dollar awaits Fed meeting

Start a new week for a single European currency in the forex market (Forex) has seen good: this morning during the Asian session, the euro strengthened against the U.S. dollar against the backdrop of news from Dubai. So, on Monday became aware of the fact that Abu Dhabi would not be killed neighbor and will allocate 10 billion to repay debt Dubai World.

Note that it is today, the deadline for repayment of Islamic sukuk bonds, which amount to the Dubai World $ 4.1 billion and payments now will be to repay debt Nakheel worth $ 3.52 billion remaining funds will be used for current expenses, such as: payments percent of the current replenishment of working capital, repayment of debts to suppliers and contractors.

The news certainly is positive, and this is clearly visible on the euro and the pound sterling on forex. We remain of the view that the rise of the dollar, observed last week, short-term nature and the potential uptrend for the EUR has not been exhausted - in favor of the shows today and the technical picture of the auction.

It is obvious that today, as on Tuesday, investors are unlikely to make sudden movements in the currency market on the eve of Wednesday, the Federal Reserve System, its decision on rates and follow-up comments. Of interest are the comments it is because the level of rates will remain at current levels. In the words of representatives of the Federal Reserve traders will look for hints of a possible collapse of mitigation policies, as well as the direction of the future monetary policy.

Gold and oil may continue their decline until the first of the year or shortly there after. Then it should be back to the long side. Got-a-run.

I agree with 1.04xx in a short-period, and .55 in a 5-year period. The trend i think is down, but there's ONLY 3 options which way it can go
A) Sideways and in 5 years it's 1.50
B) Up and in 5 years it's 2.50
C) Down and in 5 years .75

Long-term, we're testing a broken trendline, and may continue down to the lows of 1.17 or .90

i dont know, but the last leg down for EU took 3 months. So I guess it's possible to see 1.17 in 3

yes and it has ben losing steam even though price has gone up.. trend has gotten weaker.. you have to keep lowering lower trend line.. each time you do this the last trend line has failed. it usaully take 3 to 4 test for line to fail..march trendline took 4 tries

I had q long from 1.613 of Friday up to 1.995 and pending shorts at 1.4718 and 20 but the double top at 1.4684 made me change my mind.

Closed long and short for sub 1.46 now

There is one thing I noticed. The 200 SMA is very good to determine the dynamic S/R If price is below and in in upword move and staggers slightly above it than the chances for a downmove are great
