Please,i have one question. My chart on daily at gbp/usd looks like this. At another friend looks different. I refer last 3 candles. Last 2 are red at me and the third is green. On his chart last 2 are doji, one green,one red. Both use mt4 . If difference could appear, so we can think different at the chart. How is your chart on daily. Thans a lot.

who give a flying ..f**k anyway ?

i did 800 pip week before last and 700 last week ...do i go spouting it ll over the place ? ..not to mention gold and oil shorts and my es trades

not been posting recently as i have been busy making money

as senior member it is our responsibility to guide newbies and help them out with trading systems so that they can make their own money , much like i have done in vsa thread and other posts and as you have done over time. Not to congratulate those , who have come in here and contradicted themselves many times before , and spout out how great they are doing. This is not the 1st time i have noticed this fellow posting how much money he makes and he has had alot of contradication in his posts. Maybe he has got better who knows

if the guy wants a signal service ... go spend his hard earned money on marketing and setting up a web site and then he can spray out all the signals he wants. oh hold on what is that blogspot at bottom of his singature .. crafty .

this is a caution to newbies ...do not follow others calls including a guy that say he made 1032 pips in a week and al he does is post trade calls NO CHARTS

remember this is a forum for open thoughts and discussions not trade calls .

There are several awesome trade call web sites out there , some of which i have tested. and of course the best one I came across was $400 per month ..not me and i have nothing to do with it so i am NOT trying to sell something before you all jump on me

I don't know about others, but I don't really need to make that many pips per week.
It's not impossible to make that kind of pips; I managed once to make 500 pips within 4 days and I lost almost all of them in the fourth day out of too much confidence.

Still, if I constantly make 20 pips a day, day after day, and I slowly increase lot sizes over time, I can be at least financially free, if not even rich in just a couple of years.

Old traders know that, newbies should figure it out.

Just keep in mind that a 100% account increase per year is considered excellent performance when it comes to investment funds.

Having a goal is indeed one of the keys to money management. I know a couple of traders that will quit the day and quit the week once they have met goals.

It really all depends on your level of play and the time you are willing to commit to market.

For a lot of new traders, closing everyday green by only 1 pip is a hard thing to do, but agree, consistency is crucial.

As a hobbiest, I play when I can and play off of a system that allows me to do just that. Enter into current trend based on support and resistance ranges, take small bites at the apple.

Every pip counts at the end of the day.

Yes. I was the kind of trader glued to the screen, chasing every pip, feeling that I'll never get another chance like that.
After a year or so I calmed down.
Hundreds of hours of monitoring the market helped me understand that the movements are basically the same over time as long the the markets will exist.
They are like the waves of the ocean, always crashing to the shore.
Sometimes calmly, other times violently.

So, there are plenty of chances.
More then making it big a certain day, like over a hundred pips, I began to accept the fact that consistency is a truer key to succes.
I'm happy to put bits of that apple in my basket, as you say, and not give it back to the market that easily.

When i start forex i found blog to famous trader been in business for 10 years and i told my self he must be right and i will follow his trade and Guess what? BIG LOSS
Since then I follow only my Chart and my own analysis.
First i was mad on him but later i told my self he put me on the right track. Now many times i find on ff or ther forum view of very good trader and if it goes with mine I GO and if not i post mine and explain.

What I said concerns mainly the daily scalping style.
There are other styles, of course.
If you invest medium or long term and you study/apply trades that make you 500-1000 pips in a week/month, then you can take a little vacation afterwards.

And, egkid, you're right.
Trading is personal; you need to do your own analysis and take personal responsability for your trades.

I started out 2 years ago ,and still havent worked out everything there is to know about Forex.I never realised there where so many different things,which could infuence ,the markets.(Big Business)
Your not just taking about pips ,this is like ,how do i buy myself a few 100 Jaguar or Rolls Royce cars for a few million less than say 3 months ago!
We all infuence the price ,so lets beat the big boys and girls at there own game!

As a hobbiest, I play mini lots. $1 pip...

Depending on the time that I have available to trade it is nice knowing where I have the best chance to succeed, as well as if the play goes against me, where I take my exit and never question the loss.

I do agree, there are plenty of chances, that is why I am just as happy exiting out of a trade with short gains if the market goes against my trade.

I no longer hold for the hundreds...pipe dreams for me that have lost me more money then have ever gained. I would rather play multiple lots on shorter trips, take the money and run.

I lose a lot less sleep this way too.
