it will sink at least to 6300... opened short at 6363 and will close at 6313 for +50... then maybe we can put an entry for long...

Halifax is better than expected, being news is gbp positive, would it go the other direction, up?

Have no idea why you are shorting after +ve UK numbers. If numbers out in 20 mins are also +'ve cable will fly north. Anyway maybe you something that I don't - good luck

Agreed, you can't say one way or the other until the figures come out with one already positive.....

i dont think the halifax news give a much effect on the pair... but anything can happen... i just hope that i'm right... haha...

good data (halifax) and cable stays flat bad data(manufacture) cabe goes up really weird things

So far, so bad for sterling Tuesday. A fresh warning from Moody's that the UK (and the US) must trim deficits to maintain AAA ratings has shoved GBP lower, particularly against EUR. Now Commerzbank says that even strong data later Tuesday wouldn't help, with UK industrial production and manufacturing output data due at 0930 GMT.
