in my opinion if you are not a risc taker u can chose the level of 1.4743 good for closing, on the other hand my take profit is at 1.4685;depends for how long you want to stay on the market.

nope... usx is just playing around the number 76.. and has breached it. with 76.52 on radar. there is nothing in front to stop it. but im hoping for a pullback to load a few more. my load is lighter then it was.

Speaking at the European Parliament, [ECB'S TRICHET] is musing on the economy and monetary policy in general but is not adding anything of interest to this morning's (and recent) comments. He reiterates the well used phrase that rates are appropriate while the economic situation has improved and inflation is likely to remain low over the forecast horizon. Trichet also repeats that not all liquidity measures will be needed to the same extent as in the past and the 12-month refi will not be renewed after Dec. The ECB will also stop the 6 months loans after March noting the unconventional measures had served the economy well and it was important that banks did not become heavily dependent on ECB funds. There is no credit crunch in the Eurozone, the Pres remarks, while fiscal exit strategies need to include 'credible' measures on the spending side.

price stays arround same levels left .the expected bull still not showing , may be afraid doing it . higher tf stoches showing strikingly down but good thing is lower one are building .waiting more to come soon.

Uncle Ben has had long's backs for several months. Will he restate Fed policy of low intrest rates for an "extended" period of time? If so, we will likley head back north. No mention of intrest rates we continue down slowly or range in this area. Any mention of intrest rate increases, time to cut losses or hedge--- we would likley take out swing low of 4625. Good trades to all!!

Except price break any of the 2 levels 1.4623 and 1.5146 eu is not in bear nor bull , just flat when it was still in bull.but one thing now clear the smaller wave 5th have ended with d top & failure of bull arround 1.5135/45 & closing this impulse now represent either 1 or big 5th and leg down now having apparent 5 waves have finished at 1.4756 ( may go down further with extended waves due panick ) represent either wave 2 for bull or 1 for bear .If wave 2 for bull next wave to break the top & if bear 1 then 50% retracement can be expected at 1.4937 ,min to 38.2% 1.4894.

right now I see it going down but i will only to wait for bull to come as already stacked before to see fully failed.can't do 2 ways trades still.

One thing is sure, this has not had a big effect on equities. Dow only down 100 points or so from its high near 10500. We'll see if correlations come back this week. Waiting now on uncle Ben.

Hello all, I wanted to make note of something I consider quite relevant. While we focus on the intraday picture in most of our postings, it's good to remember the long term picture once in a while, the bird's eye view.

March was the start of this mega trend to the upside for a whopping 2500 pips with little interruption in price action. On the daily charts we can clearly see the lower trendline keeping price action in check with any attempts to get close to it just causing more momentum to the upside. This week is different. We have officially broken to the downside for the first time in....around 8 or 9 months. This is majestic!

Why is it important though? Because one could assume this is the beggining of a reversal (too premature in my opinion). Others will say it is December, with the low volume that surrounds this time of year, whatever happens throughout December doesn't affect the long term picture significantly.

What I want to point out though is....after consolidating higher and higher for 8 or 9 months, it is hard to determine what is the level of strong support on the daily charts. The white lines show possible strong supports given historical data.

So yeah, just keep in mind, a few days action is not enough to say the trend has changed. But if your still a heavy bull looking to pick bottoms with the assumption this is just a temporary retracement, well ask yourself seriously, on the daily charts, where is a good support level.

You do not want to catch a falling knife.

As for me, flat is best at this time on Eur/Usd.

Just a hunch, however from reading various forums and media outlets over weekend I believe uncle Ben will state that interest rates will remain unchanged for a “while”. This will likely cause bull run on gold, oil, and foreign currencies. I don’t believe jacking up rates on USD will benefit FED considering they have to sell billions worth of T-bills daily.
