tbh this news today could even be the trigger to push cable back below 160, the Fed is now much more likely to raise rates sooner, and much sooner than ECB/BOE will making the dollar very strong.

But whatever I think the market will probably do something completely different

Yep, good move from NFP and banked +97 pips on top of +40 from this mornings' move

Fuming! Had a short in place but the stop didn't get triggered when price reached it. Tried manual close after I realised it hadn't triggered but system wouldn't close trade. Finally managed to close it minus a load of pips.

Anyone else not buying this jobs number? Looks to me like a desperate effort to con everyone into thinking the US economy is back on track so that the general public can go out and spend more this christmas. Timing is a little to convenient for me especially when for a lot of retailers this festive season will be make or break. I see a revision to the downside after the holiday season. You can call me a conspiracy theorist if you like

The trouble is that the EUR is taking the hardest hit, and thats causing the EUR/GBP to drop which is supporting cable, I really want to stay in but if this gets much above 16600 I am out.
