TP @1.6550 SL @1.6350, will adjust later depending on market conditions.

Since you've got a 100 pip stop loss, that implies you still think there's room for cable to go up?

So why not short from higher up, out of interest?

Your beer money commentary amuses me always, but I bet you can't spend all your profit on beer - you're one of the few good uns left on this site - direct trade has gone, global macro (still flat?), albchr has re-emerged this morning, so keep up the running commentaries while I just trade my charts and I hope you have enough beer money by the end of the week, although I'd be placing a sell order much higher if I were you...

Folks,

As I said, expect the unexpected.
I am looking to short cable from 65800 sl 150 pips and adding on 66900 SL 50 pips (if it reach that level).

I expect cable to go mental and take all the SL's before it drops.

65700 seems inevitable, and it should be bought before the BIG news. If the news is bad some retrace else only on the UP side.

I am holding few of my longs from 62700, adjusted few positions yesterday @ 64500.

Trade your own charts. I am posting my trades and my thoughts.

Can't see any signs of trend reversal yet. News doesn't seem to have any effect on dear old cable in the last few days. Bulls do seem to have the market by the horns.

Watch the action 2mins before public release, since Thomson subscribers get it 2mins earlier.

Note - Trading based on initial reaction alone can sometimes be hazardous.

I've taken the experienced guys advices to never trade around the news or move TP to break even if I sense the market might be up to something, rather than let me stop loss get hit.

Which is 'good money management' i.e. always use a stop loss - especially as a new trader. I've got bronzed so many times as a new trader when I forgot this rule, at least you used a stop loss so wait to the next trade opportunity...
