Basically yeah, look for S/R near it to enter with it's direction, get in as near as possible and SL just the other side.

Its got a high win rate and generally a 3x's the profit to SL level to if played well.

The ema's continue to compress and tighten
as the pair trades between 1.6380 - 1.6400.

^ compression > ^ pressure > ^ energy > ^ pips

What about 200 ema, buying over and selling under?

I find that 62ema and 600 ema work fine, but the best is 30 ema....

I did already, I can't type that fast.

200EMA's got the best chance of S/R holding and therefore getting a reversal.


And I've tried them all over the year, literally!!

I use a fast 12 SMA Linear to for immediate direction calling.
Nothing to it, but to do it!!! Stick to the plan FOOL!!!!

Been using 24 and 13 for entries and support, following direction off of 200.

Still watch the clock for the turn times...xx:06, xx:21, xx:38....

And still guess a few.....

As of current...Short side based on 24 on the 4hr. No break, no more long, have joined the bears....

I posted hma earlier .. this like jurik moving average simulates moving average cross overs

here is chart with a 8 sma and a 4 sma (solid green and red) and a 20 hma. Note when the hma changes colours conincides with the 8 and 4 sma cross over ... pretty cool

1) we have 1.6435 tops of market ..prices passes under hma , sell and place stop 10 pips above the bar that caused ham to turn down

2) trend is down bear flag into 1.6400 , then another moves just above the ham with sellers hitting price ( seen by wick on candle) , sell with stop 10 pip above bar that caused you to go short.

Even is you had only got 40 pip off each trade 80 pip is really good for 2 hrs work

have fun with it ... play with setting ... it will resemble your fav moving average crosss with out 2 lines cluttering the chart

+1, cable is probably going south, as long as 1.644 holds!

About all the moving averages, trust me, less of them u put on chart, better for you. Focus on PA and follow the big guys!

Only EMA 62 on daily cable is still used by some bigger fx players(banks, hedge funds..) most of the other moving averages are nowdays beeing used only by "retail" fx traders with some imagination. Well sometimes institutional players use them to cover up the "leaks" of insider info or cartel agreements. But hey, if moving averages helps u to make some profit, good for you

I do not have much time to check this site, but if see some good trading opportunities I'll let u guys know.But as i can see ure all doing pretty well

U guys only write down middle term trades right, no scalps?

Thx for the insight.

I personnaly use MA for visual trend propuse, not much as entry exit.

Watching previous candle low in a up trend, or the master candle low that engulf all next one, you can see the shift. HL reading do the trend propose.

Chickened out and closed them for +75....

Still holding 5....

Not sure what timeframe some people are looking at but we are ranging and have been since yesterday (Tuesday).
