You are correct Pip....that's why I was a little confused at the example...

Typically the way to play it is, if GY is up, you can hedge GU and UJ up and the correlation puts them in positive pips over time, if GY is down then you can hedge GU and UJ down and you will achieve and overall positive trade

Was thrown off a bit about the whole USDJPY to EURUSD bit...

while some euro pairs are strong such as eur/jpy, this will Propp up various other eur pairs such as eur/usd.

Eur/jpy and Eur/usd are not strongly correllated and thus will not move in the same direction at the same time. But over time Eur/usd will prob catch up.

Its called negative correlation Egypt, typically used to gauge the strength of two opposing pairs to trade a common denominator, weak vs strong for the most pip movement

90 may be a good base to go long... and scalp the bounce for a few..sl should be just below 90

I honestly have not seen many books on correlation. Do a google search...also, you can use Excel spreadsheet's correlation function to calculate the correlation between pairs.

3-4 hours of "work" will get you about 65 pips and about 5% rise on the account. No winner bigger than 10-12 pips, largest loser 6 pips. Most trades just a few minutes long. First few trades are random entries with microlots, kind of like practice swings on the driving range. Just chasing visible momentum for the most part. So easy a fool caveman can do it.
