Thanks again . Then more simply providing JPY value constant ej/uj =eu should work. So up ej, down uj should eu ++ up,down ej up uj then eu ++ down , other time should range .
so using both pairs together to take a simplified decision before taking a trade in eu.

The way triangulation works is, if you take a crosscurrency, its related majors should trade in the same direction......

So in laymens terms about the e/j e/u corralation...


while some euro pairs are strong such as eur/jpy, this will Propp up various other eur pairs such as eur/usd.

Eur/jpy and Eur/usd are not strongly correllated and thus will not move in the same direction at the same time. But over time Eur/usd will prob catch up.
