Not to be flippant, mate, but the only intervention I see is there were far more buyers than sellers, with a fair portion of those buyers being existing shorts squeezed out of their positions. This means cable has been seriously bid all day.
You were on the wrong side of the trade, it happens to all of us from time to time, but you made big when you were short on the big move a few weeks ago, from 1.64 to the depths of 1.58XX. We didn't question whether it was intervention or manipulation on that date, we simply...
sorry intervention not the right word but the strength of the bullish candle today has caused a lot of damage to the point that i personally will say im an absolute twit if we see a new low on weekly not to mention 1.53
next week bull signals i look for..

yes u right..intervention is wrong word..but to break the low of the weekly and to get this bullish strength against the trend..i just didnt think it had the strength to break the weekly high..oh well we can only do our best

They probably did, as did prop desks at all other major houses after observing break of descending t/l and ensuing price action, as did algo strategies at countless hedge funds, as did many astute retail traders..... the list of "they" is pretty big. There is no conspiracy here, no one to blame for this move....
I could never have predicted such a move, Navin. In fact, I was shocked to see the price when I logged on this morning and missed out completely on the move. When I logged off last night, price was still trading just below the descending t/l from 11 Sep. The momentum that built on the journey north was impressive.
