Why bother with this fella. Congrats to him on his trades, but end result, it's not like the game is over. Nobody wins the cup or any medals, it's all about taking what we make and learning from what we lose.

I think you offer enough to the room to not have to justify yourself, it is okay to agree to disagree. It is inevitable that we will at some point all find ourselves on opposite sides of a trade and at some point still prosper.

I don't think that entering into a pissing contest with every person on opposing positions is your calling. Keeps doing what your doing, what we may miss in our market plays we can still hold the lessons.

Believe I said this before, this is a big enough sand box for all of our Tonka Trucks!

Forex trading is not just good for the Wallet but for the soul as well.... here I have to practise discipline and patience NOT to say what I really think.... come to think of it, I actually fall for it yesterday and made a comment...

To All NOOBS... I'm also one and will be for ever young, we all learn and when you start to post LIVE trades, winners or losers you learn to live with it.

When you post your strategy, the REAL traders here will and do comment on it and you could get others trained view on it and maybe see were you make mistakes or teach others something.

Coming in here and causing trouble every freaking time is just WRONG.

To ALL: Here is my trading plan, I have been calling it live on and off, and almost feel like leaving it at that again, because of all this bickering

Chart: 1hr
10 EMA - 35 pips on GBPUSD for SL moved every hour
STOCHS EMA 14.3.3. > 80/20 breakout

Only make decisions on a closed candle

There are a lotta brokers out there who already offer up contests on percentage basis, leaving you without having to throw a $1000 into the kitty to play in the litter.

A lot are percentage based, allowing for traders of all levels to compete.

I think that account statements would prolly rule the roost on something like this. If we wanna get into a little something like this, compete with the world of traders instead of 50-100 of the best in FF and we could always throw in some side bets, ya know, keep it interesting n all.

Gotta agree with you there bud, no point in the back and fourth, I dont think that there is any one perfect way to trade, more down to MM than anything else, I adapt all the time, as do most of us, those who dont wont last long, WB from what I can gather has been in the game for quite some time, so has a fairly large amount of experience that he shares with those of us with less experience.

On the other hand you cannot expect WB to take every person by the hand and lead them, trading is not for everyone, our biggest enemy is our own Phsyche, thats a battle that we face everyday, especially those of us here that trade for a living.


Put it into perspective we all saw a large number of professional forecasters 18 months ago telling us that there was no big crash coming...none of us can tell the future, we just have to take the balance of probabilities and go with that, coupled with past experience.

Yes, I've also seen the normalising of the smile curve, following this upside move in spot, indicating an easing of near-term bearish sentiment towards cable, less demand for downside protection.

The reason for the $1000 is to sort the wheat from the chaff...put money where mouth is so to speak, anyone can trade demo for free in a competition and if they lose it means nothing.

Competitions that are broker run, offer up prize money, and you have to have skin in the game to be in the running. No demo accounts take the bank.

Color it the cheap Ukrainian in me, but if I putting $1000 into something, would prefer it be my own account.
