FREIBURG, Germany (Dow Jones)--Coordinating currency market intervention between the European Central Bank and the U.S. Federal Reserve "depends on the situation," a high-ranking ECB policy maker said Wednesday, when asked whether the ECB would coordinate possible intervention in foreign-exchange markets.

Pointing to central banks' increasing policy coordination during the financial crisis, ECB executive board member Lorenzo Bini Smaghi said "we have done many things" together with the Fed in the past.

Bini Smaghi was speaking before students in Freiburg, Germany.

anyone going long? i took a small long at 5950, last hour closed as hammer, i'm awaiting for a move back to 6020, 5920 was too strong resistance for cable, so it could go other way

Look at 15 min time frame is looks bearish.

Look at the formation.

Short also a head and shoulder and a head and shoulder in 4 hours

I did the same thing....long at 1.5950..targeting 1.6030 first then i'll see
let's push the GBP up!

Price has been denied on 5m chart @ 24ma line. I am looking to go back long too, but currently holding a short scalp @ 1.5955.

One more surge to the south side and we could see a nice dead cat bounce, but will hold short until time to not hold shorts no mo.

Yes, at the moment it look little bit bearish, but USD is weak at the moment and that is main thing right now. I risked only third of usual position with sl 15, just curious how it will go after that kind of closure of hourly candle
