lol, dont fall in trap with OB/OS/. with news as they are.. any instrument can remain in OB/OS for days/Weeks..

The initial response to NFP was the market sold risk assets. However, towards the end of the session on Friday, these same assets consolidated and it became the dollar that was instead dumped en-masse, with the logic being it's the currency of the major economy with the worst relative growth prospects, lowest interest rates and one of the weakest fiscal positions.

This morning's story in The Independent has set off the latest wave of dollar selling, from which commodities and commodity currencies have been the main beneficiaries. So news does matter.

Sorry, not sure the correct term for it but in worst case scenario my margin to equity ratio is 4/1. So, if my margin is X, I have another 4 times X for drawdown.
Basically, I never want to f'up again.

no doubt....margin call and mm just shouldnt be in the same sentence.
It appears im different to most in this respect i actually have a fear of losing so mm comes natural to me (i think)

example...see chart

i might appear to be trouble but mm i think has saved me from something which could be fatal....without accessing risk trading is just another way to lose money

I believe that is very close to the way I feel, instead of suffering a loss and trying to make it back immediately, I always consider what a second successive loss would feel like...that normally holds me back until the next set up, which most of the time is not until the next day.

My MM is simple, risk less than 2 % per trade, and look to maintain atleast a 60% SR, small scale trades are my preference, 30 - 40 pips and I am happy, never a stop further than 20 pips, it seems to work, had a good month last month, not huge, but enough to show an excellent turn around on the previous month!

Best of luck, I cant see anything happening at the moment so I am off to gym!
