I meant to thank you for your advice yesterday. I cut my short at took 50 pips. - I'm now long at 1.5980 - got caught by the bull trap, but looks as though it will recover and continue it's upward trend (in my humble opinion)

My take on all these...

Long-run= Open a PO Sell@ 1.6120
Short-run= Hold a LONG till 1.6100

It is all confusing right now... But sit out watch the trend and click.

But clearly my fault I tried to anticipate a future move as we were still IN THE CLOUD ......stupid me lol

There were plenty of warnings that the bulls were going to get hit - when Euro breaks up and Swissy down as happened around the Frankfurt Open BUT cable doesnt follow then you need to take notice.

Then after bullish Halifax data, cable is unable to move up its because there are sellers loading up as the Big Dogs know what's going to happen....and LOL out comes the bad Industrial Production data to trigger the balance of a 100 pip fall.....http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon6.gif

So my pips are banked and I'm finished till NY open....BFN

Yep, with all this consolidating, it's like you could just place a buy/sell or both right there and just wait long enough to collect both ways....lol

Much altered 1hr chart now in respect of potential supp/res/sbr/rbs factors following continued drop from 76.4% 6024-5808 aided by the reaction to worst than forecast 0830am gmt Uk data...I will marke the current i/day highs in as a previous swing hi zone if this 1hr candle closes accordingly..The grey zone is breeched but may stand up as potential rbs on any test from topside,...post-data reaction found support @ 76.4% of 5899-6047-current i/day hi...The circled zones are co-existant on 4hr

Technical Trend picture unclear now 1hr/4hr
