I went long on my micro account yesterday and have doubled the position on every 20 pip fall. I am now levered up 200 times on my capital, which isn't a problem at all, as my broker luckily allows 500 times leverage. Phew!!! Still got some breathing space to see me through...
UUmh? Conspiracy theory -vs- technicals, well I know which I will go with, to base my trading decisions on, but G/L with it, lol.

As for doubling up on every 20pip fall in a runaway bearish market, well yeh G/L with that as well, good job it's a micro a/c as I'm sure you wouldn't do it in an account of any size based on a conspiracy theory.

I didn't mean any offence by my post, Navin. It was a small attempt at Friday humour. I also lost yesterday on cable.

As part of my trading, I have a short-term proprietary trend program always on the go, which (unfortunately on this occasion) purchased cable yesterday afternoon. My gut was telling me to stay flat, but I never let my feelings (biases) interfere with this part of my trading, as back-testing shows good results over the long-term.

The trade was stopped out at -100pips. Only a small postion size, so the loss was small. I am totally flat in FX right now, after havign trailing stop hit on EURUSD position this morning. Now patiently looking for next opportunity.

The 4hr previous swing hi/lo=prev supp=potential support zone is shown below with the descending channel...below here and there is another minor previous swing lo=prev supp=potential support zone on 4hr 6246-34, with 76.4% of 6111-6740 @ 6260 ahead of the major lows @ 6111, that 4hr prev sw lo=prev supp=potential supp zone co-existing on 1hr and extending 6111-38 area.

The only reason for this collapse is O/N shock news that an insurance company failed stress test and is forced to abandon withdrawal from relief program...nobody knew this yesterday...lol

To start with, he said he tried long term which failed. He went long on the 4th down day without any bullish confirmation from the higher timeframes.

See I might not know that the insurance company would've failed the stress test whatsoever, but the price action on the charts were evidently giving away freebies, that much is already known before the failed stress test. So why take the chance and ignore it? Afterall most of us here rely heavily on charting.
