GU seems to be a little lethargic and unenthusiastic about it's upwards move; looks like each M5 bar has good support and minimal bottom tails - perhaps I'm just looking for too many warm fuzzies, and recalling things in 2Q09 and perhaps earlier being much more catapultive when moves occurred - that type of PA seems missing these days. Am also looking at GY: looked liked it was going to marry up for the northbound ride along with GU, but it looks even less enthusiastic, and it's chart pattern seems suspicious to me. Thanks for listening.

Morning All,

I'm flat after I closed my short BE last night since it just wouldn't break 6470.

15M
My fib from 1.6659 (15 Sep) to 1.6401 suggets that if PA breaks 1.6561, it'll head north with Target 1 @ 6629 and Target 2 @ 6659 if it breaks resistence at 6600.

4H
Massive bull bar bouncing off my Darma Pivot and 100 and 200 EMA and crossed my trigger 55EMA suggests north.

So now monitoring for a good LONG entry

(Malcomb, thanks for your analysis - helpful as always. I'm still learning VSA but if if I've got this right, there's accumulation vol going on now on the 15M to 1M timeframes? cheers) Vlad

try placing buy limits on retracements levels

that way you may get a better entry , also by buying as you did it may stop you form buying tops ....

Do you thing we should wait for retail sales numbers to come up - if they are good this thing should explode - what's a good entry long right now as per your opinion?

The way it taking out the stops I guess it will drop like a rock. Might be after DATA.

Thanks for that great advice. With retracement levels, do you mean placing a Long order in advance at say.... 6525 at this current PA?

I guess my order style is akin to a breakout.

Also, I have less time to re-analyse as i gotta head out the door for the J-O-B :-)
