Yes, you are correct in saying that the 15min. has to turn first... but a 15min trend does not have the same weight as a daily trend..think about how many 15 min candles it takes to show a change in the daily trend...
Is it a 15min trend change or just a pullback of the bigger trend?
Remember this is a trend following system...

Example:
We have a daily chart showing the beginnings of a new down trend with a good Ichi...

If the daily time frame is trending up, look for opportunities to go long in the lower time frame or if the daily time frame is trending down, then go short. If you follow the higher time frames bigger chances of a winning trade.

Counter-trending in the lower time frame is possible but there is a big risk.

Question here:
If daily is bullish but 4hr is bearish, what would you then look for in the lower timeframes?
Or...do we only go as far down the timeframes if they all agree.
For example:
Daily Bullish
4hr bearish, we stop here and wait for 4hr bullish signals

Daily bullish
4hr bullish
1hr bullish
30min bearish, we stop here and wait for 30min entries or higher

Daily bullish
4hr bullish
1hr bullish
30min bullish
15min bullish
5min neutral, we stop here and wait for 5min entries or higher

Ok - howabout SGDJPY - it is a slightly slower moving pair than most but is very gradual like the USDJPY. I am still in a 1hr short trade from last week at +84 pips but there look to be some possible setups coming.
Daily: bearish
4hr: bearish
1hr: bearish
I will be looking for TS/KS crosses on the 30 and 15min charts:

As an alternative for something more volatile, maybe the CADJPY. The Daily outlook on CADJPY is neutral at the moment but it looks like it may resume its bearish trend as there is a bounce from the top of the kumo.
4hr, 1hr, 30m, and 15m are all currently bearish.

I appreciate the offer, but I think I need a little more time to become a warrior. I need to practice this more and more and i'll start contributing once my confidence builds up. until then, i'll leave it upto the warriors here to lead the battle.

No you missed understand me this is not about the Warriors, this is about soldiers on.
if you are able to follow a pair just for the sake of studying and analysis you can share it here with us and we can check it and learn from it and test it , this will be very helpful to you and will open your eyes and ours to new markets

I've been studying Ichimoku and how to apply it to markets for over a month now and finding a group of people with such a wealth of knowledge is great. I thank you vic and all the other warriors I hope I can learn from you and help others learn the art of ichi.

I think this week will see some good trends on the yen pairs.

Do any of the followers have dollar index charting abilities? I think it would be a good idea to run ichimoku on the dollar index. It may be quite oversold and if that is the case-we need to know about it.

Folks-I can only see a daily dollar index without indicators (Japanese candlesticks) and it looks very oversold. (my opinion) Something to keep in mind, we may be near critical mass and be alert in the coming sessions. Again this should not be a problem following ichi I just advise all of us to monitor our active trades a little closer.

I used to have several demos thru many brokers to get the different index but it was to much..
I can not remember which broker it was that offered it in MT4...
I just checked FXDD and they have gold and silver but no $index...
I trade with InterbankFx and they also do not have it...

Thanks for looking, I am searching fxstreet's free charts. Nothing yet but I found a live feed (whereas my broker isn't open yet). Eu is at 4600. The free chart is fxtrek and it has ichi! Not bad eh?
