Extreme oscillator readings and a cci hook with breech of all channels (and bol extreme deviation) gave the short at point a then the hidden divergence/band deviation re-entry to 5min trend (after the pullback) @ the 38.2% fib of the 6454-current intraday hi move at point b.

You gotta love volatility..it craetes great technical opportunities.

yeah quite right, we're either at the beginning of a reversal back down or at the start of a new uptrend. Scary times, my nerves are taking a hit.

I think euro bouncing back up a bit is what is keeping cable high at the moment.

There's low volume, I don't see many buyers, at this level anyway.

Still I know what you mean- I was wary that anything can happen with these rates decisions, but I dont think I really expected such an aggressive spike.

Hey Navin,

Prior to the BOE announcement, the market was pricing a roughly 30% chance of a change being made to either the QE programme or the rate of interest that the BOE pays to commercial banks on reserves that are lodged with them.

Now, as we have seen no change to the Bank Rate, QE or rates paid on reserves, the market is enjoying a relief rally.

6600 still remains a KEY level.

Pls does anyone really understand what happened with the BOE today? i figure there was no major change so why the huge spike?

i am seeing a h4 bear divergence so hang on till 1.6660-80 if price closes above 1.67 look to buy dips till 1.70xx
