if the price breaks the yellow line which is resistance, it will go up to 1.65XX region

Nav, I agree with WB, when drawing trendlines i've allways been told to join the bottom of the swing low's in an up trend and the top's of the swing highs in a down trend. Check out a book by Tom DeMark on drawing trendlines.

correct.

but I wasn't referring to that.
He has a diamond breakout on his chart and the yellow line is not resistance. I'd be happy to long this because of the bullish expansion as the yellow line gets higher.

gbp has been the worst performer against usd.we've got hpi and manufacturing data out tomorrow.if its good news, gbp should shoot upwards.trend seems semi bullish now as well.

comments anyone? trade ideas for gbpusd?

Cable in uptrend 5min to 4hr atm, friday's candle close and weekly candle close were bullish, struggling this morning just ahead of the 61.8% of the 6622-6111 fall. The initial dip down from 6417 found support at the broken 1hr potenbtial resistance trend line (rbs) and another attempt on current highs resulted.

Near-term Fibs to the upside are 61.8% 6665-6111 @ 6451 then 38.2% 7044-6111 @ 6464 with 76.4% of first move mentioned @ 6499.

The 1hr chart as I see it is below.

i was listning to an analyst 2 days day and he said the world ecomony appears to be coming out of a recession and gbp is just lagging behind....

i was thinking are we taking about the same planet..

if u short the gbp u need to be carefull....usdflx shows that dollar across the board looks as if it will weaken..not trading cable cause it looks nut ....long on dragon thou

I agree, I think the boys at the top are just trying to talk the world out of resession, now nothing else has worked. Im surprised the governments of the would havent given us all £100 to spend in the blind hope we all get carried away and spend thousands we dont have on credit, that should get us back to where we were.
