Only few shorts left , placed sl above 1.4267,tp 1.4160. Not hoping it will break 1.4221 successfully so easly & if so should fail at 1.4236/44 level .
bear should continue next few days & so no worry perhaps .good night . A very good trading today for me.

Setup for the Asian or Euro session has some very good confluence.

Check out the chart.

Purple line is Monthly Pivot. (Also has label in case you were a short bus rider)

We have the 50.0 fib a few PIPS away.

We also have a trend line.

Somewhere in there will also be the new PP.

Sell anything near the monthly pivot and trend line.

Stop above 61.8.

If price struggles to move north you could sell the 38.2 but I'd wait.

The confluence of factors mentioned above will create a very high probability trade.

... good to see I can still draw TLs We were literally pips away from breaching the first one (1.41732) and the next one will put us at around 1.4005 (everyone's favorite) if we were to draw the line straight down. No idea what going to happen, just observing from a safe distance

yeah its late and some bears in europe may be at dinner.. but as time goes on it will be protected. tomorrow is more like it.. id sell if i could above it.. you just dont know these things until support is broken.. i actually think 4209 will be protected

Poidog you have to read the entire report on ISM. It is good because manufacturers are running on low inventory. It took them over a year to clear out the inventory. This tells me demand is very low. ISM numbers were good b/c they had to refill the inventory. Consumer are holding back so there is a good chance that the inventory that they just ordered will remain in low demand for a while. If we see 2-3 months of continues ISM above 50 then i would agree that we are growing but for now I am not confident that the growth is sustainable.

Well deserved sell off on the overly priced and hyped us equities. Seems like goldman and morgan are done with pumping the markets for time being. my take is oil and eur will go down with the us stocks. eur's trend is still in tact for the upside but it may get broken soon. the ignored china effect is about to catch up. and flight to quality buy "usd" is another crap created by wall street

anything above 4216... this door will shut and the train will leave. the hard decision is should i? when? will the price get better? take the stress out figure whatever the price is and 4288 as sl... use 1/2% of that as a sl... if the price gets better sell the other 1/2%.... this way your in with a 80 pip sl if it goes bad... your sl will be even less pips if you added on the way up..tp 225 pips maybe more.... r/r 3 to 1... and if sl less then 4288 r/r even less..
