Last hour short covering on the s&p is going to give some boost to eur, let's see how long it lasts

Thanks Gator. I appreciate your perspective. Taking a quick glance at that fibo gives the 23.6 coming in just under 1.400. It's possible of course. It would be a nasty little pullback if it went there and jumped higher because it would be a false breakout of the current wedge. If price did breakout and then moved back into the wedge I'd be long and strong again. Only a daily close below 1.37 will I become neutral on this pair. We'll see if this happens.

Perhaps, I don't know how to draw TLs ... but my LT bull ones on the daily are still in tact. Close, but with pips to spare. Will watch in coming days. Will look to buy if we do go down to 1.40.

If stay below 1.423 then look out below. 1.423 was very tough to break before so now that we have broken that we could very well be going to 1.408 and overshoot to probably 1.40

Seem the markets are decoupling , especially yesterday and today. Along with the consolidation recently, probably a VERY big move coming.

From my experience, it may take some time, or not, but 1.4280 should be retested before any major change in long term trend.

Little known fact, S/R horizontal lines derived early from pitchfork parallel lines early in trend. You won't hear that anywhere else
maybe not today but 4215/17 area will be a high spot on your chart if bearish move continues. it appears to be digging in..its on the big boys chart and it will soon be protected if not already

edit: i just sold more here..target 3973 but tp is 3975...

My view is this (fibo...):

100% 1,6033
61,8% 1,4614
50% 1,4181 we are around this today...
38,2% 1,3741
23,6% 1,3202
0% 1,2329

and the weekly chart seems pointing at 61,8%

someone agree with this view?

I did .... & generealy i get around 200% more pips as day trader then long term as i used to do .. the move u see as 400 pips it can be dissected to 5-8 moves with 100 pips average or even more on volatile days eur/usd ..... 2 steps up 1 step down .Accept other views dont close the curtain before the show is over ... i hope u get those 20% back fast good luck

Ok.

Setup for the Asian or Euro session has some very good confluence.

Check out the chart.

Purple line is Monthly Pivot. (Also has label in case you were a short bus rider)

We have the 50.0 fib a few PIPS away.

We also have a trend line.

Somewhere in there will also be the new PP.

Sell anything near the monthly pivot and trend line.

Stop above 61.8.

If price struggles to move north you could sell the 38.2 but I'd wait.

The confluence of factors mentioned above will create a very high probability trade.

Note daily trendline holds, price bounced off; one below not yet broken, and the ol pitchfork shows ML close by and not yet touched.
When in doubt zoom out.

I'm very bearish, but those ISM numbers were really good. Probably the most important data of the week. There is a message when news like that is sold.

the others are pn .. this one is a fib..we may get no higher then we are right now. this may be the new top..once we broke support longer pn come into play.big bears will soon protect 4216 area. big bulls will protect 3973 area
