Hi Azim ,maybe this would help...the Dow is following the path of the $(inverse) in a more subdued way I guess ,question is Break or Bounce?

yes i have actually found other currencise so much easier to trade..not so hot on cable anymore..usdcad is a lot more straight forward

Canada has come under pressure due to rising debt:GDP ratio and weakened exports etc. Also there is a fear that the Canadian government will intervene if CAD gets too strong. You are right I have had a good couple of trades on USD-CAD and GBP-CAD on this week. But that is what forex or trading is all about--no conditions are LAST FOREVER. GBP-USD haa had moves this last week like 200 pip moves but they were not in any particular direction. If you are a longer TF trader then you would have found making money harder. But this week may chnage it a bit. I think it will move to the upside this week.

The important bit is changes in commitments. this weak coming cable should rise according to this. We will see.

report is out on fridays and it reporst on positions as of tuesdays. so it is already lagging but it makes sense when the ratios and extreme and held over a loong period

Well the cad is currently challenging a falling TL,could fail but looking at oil id say up.
Actually the cad hasn't been particularly strong just holding ground,(when other currencies have not)price just under 38.2 of down move from Nov/07
