That could well work wonderfully without a s/l - and I am inclined towards it as a direction - but its a crazy gamble

Trouble with s/l is that it usually whips up and down just at the announcement - so even if you are eventually right, it will still take your stop loss

No way round it so I stay out

I've been treating cable as a range for the last 2months. Basically meaning going short or long into the median price, aiming for the other end if possible.

I just came back from the gym and read everything in the last 6 hours, I agree:

We have two people shorting into the daily trendline and praying,
People shorting all the way up until it breaks out.
And now everyone is long haha. Time to get short soon perhaps then.

There was a fellow once who faded everyones calls in another thread. Using stops as limits and limits as stops (exits and entries reversed). Supposedly he made a killing.

Although, it is kinda rich coming from me, i've been fairly quiet for the last few days but this is one of the best days i've had all month, so i did want to stroke my ego I admit.

Nothing wrong with that - celebrations are excellent, but only for former losers. In my first month at this game I made 10 winners in a row but ended my first month £7k down - so I know about cocky. No way is anyone, or any group, a perpetual winner at this game so I always discount such repeated triumphalism, even when i bet the same way and made the same money


Well done ! I can feel a good run coming on in the next day or so, but not sure of the direction yet - next 24 hours should point the way

Don't go into the olympic gym but I really should, I don't do many core exercises.

Mainly work out with heavy dumb-bells to concentrate on stablisers etc, mainly go to the gym to offset my alcohol addiction.

Hehe, perhaps it was time to short when everyone went long!

To be honest, I liked this daily doji because it was only a 90-100pip range, usually gives a good breakout. Lets hope this happens again, but with a cleaner execution.

I heard of a rumour about a guy who hasn't had a losing day in 3years, he's spraffed about a lot on t2w.

I know what you mean though, ego kills an account, and marriage to trades too.

For example Geppy earlier on saying "where are the pro's now calling this long?!?!" "don't marry the trade marry the indicators". Just an example (not meaning any fuss).

Anyhoo, Scotland game on later, as too is the England one. Go britain!!

I just bench, deads, chins & squat really.
I can only handle 380lbs 1 rep max for squat/ 280lbs on full worksets. Nothing more, not a big guy, trying to get there tho

USA majority sport will be soccer in 50 years from now (Hispanics ^ 100)

Too late for me. Only way I can watch soccer is put my long grey mac on and go watch the girls in the school playing fields. That would be a good way to lose my green card.

yep, that's so true man, i know i dont post much bcus i'm a newbie but a big thanks from me too bb, dt, wb, gm etc. It shows human nature, people from different cultures and countries helping each other make a living. I just wander where some other great fx traders who used 2 post here a few months back have ended up. If i could i'd buy all you guys some nice cold beer.
