Yup, both GU@64300 and EU@14100 are controlled. Seems the suppport is set for these two. Major movement needs to happen to drag them below here.

Despite dow gone mental and selling at 120 points below these babies are intact from last 20 hrs. That's called rock solid support!!

EDIT: Intact from last 24 hrs !!!
no that is called consolidation .. note all moves to 1.6500 are hit with sellers.

I have moved 40% of my shares into cash and bought etf DOG - dow short

So far I am glad I did

Rate hikes are a fantasy - I wish they were not

I moved money at 6% fixed out of the isle of man as their compo scheme is non existant and the sky was falling. Now I live on 0.2% before tax. I would love rates at 7.5% and inflation at 5% but its a distant dream

yes no trading until thursday unless there is a ridiculous move I can contra short term

may not be the right term

there is going to be a down move in global markets. DJ liekly to come down into the 8000 zone and then lets see form there what is going on .

This takes GU down below 1.6000 and GK into the 140 zone.

I have been talking about the volumes in the markets not supporting the up move for a while now.

What are your basis for this statement? Do you based them in technichal analysis/fundamental or your pown experience... I ask you cuse it's an astonishing thing! More even if it happens from now to christmas!! What a good present by Santa those pips eh??!! lol

Hey down drift means to head towards 1.60 rather than 1.70. Well I'm shorting cable this week.

Haven't made a mistake for over two weeks so I must be due one.

Thanks! So am I, but it seems that my 1.6420 "friend zone" is a pretty good support for my bears expectations. When do you think It'll be broken?

I think you will find tomorrow cable will end up in the 1.635 ish with the latest employment data. If cable is still trading above 1.64 by Thursday evening I will be amazed.

Here's the latest...... No jumping in and out of market in DO-YOUR-HEAD-IN PA. As long as the Blue and Red TL holds I see positive retracement.... with cusion support of 1.6400 level.

The cat will be asleep on me when London starts so I cant wake it up - I will be up at 6.30am pacific in time for US session and ready contra trade any 300 pip move for 50 pips retrace - thats all i am up to wednesday

Shares are getting to be fun - when the DOW hits 8700 I will load up

technical mostly ... volumes

they say that NYSE volume were low yesterday ..blamed it on being August ... well hasn't it been August for a while now ?

the rewaosn for the low volumes is no demand in the market. In fact the US stock markets have been moving up on lower volumes each week since the 6500 low on the dj . It is becoming more pronounced.

then in July we had that small dip in the dj and then a 1000 point rise. . If the pros are really buying should the 1000 point rise in the dj been on expanding volume not decreasing volume. ?

also very odd how it is rumoured that goldman sachs is behind most things in the market. If they knew that the non farm payrolls were going to be 100 better than expected on Thursday , one day ahead of the news coming out woudldn't they have been buying their own stock ? so why then has it been slowly selling off since last thursday ? they know something is going down this week I lay money on it

the rsx on weekly already rolling over , was even on the up thrust to 1.7000
