...yes. Remember when I said 500 pips further down that I didnt like the PA as it was falling? Everyone was selling but there was a play by the movers to take it up here. Worked well and screwed many out of the market.

I see the same thing here, but in a more subtle way. Its not accumulation or distribution in the common sense, but a certain few movers refusing to allow price to drop or retrace. It is simply being held up unitl a major news announcement so the large orders can be hidden in a spike again.

Now, if I was a major institution or two, I would play the game as follows:

How to capture the market and be in at the top at the moment?

Buy constantly at each sign of a dip, keeping price elevated. DO NOT allow price to fall expect to gain a slightly better entry price for myself. Allow market to decide "Long" by keeping in range for 1-2 days...Market momentum should take above 17000, if touching and stalling, force through last 30% of account to take above into 17050/17100 area. Sell at 100% within rise as everyone else is Buying. Taking out weak longs during the drop should allow some momentum to downside, longs switching to short should help accelerate, etc etc.

Basically, I would want to take out the Shorts, followed by taking out the Longs.

Monitoring M5 Trendline!

I am looking for a reversal to short anound 1.73 - 1.74 zone by the 11th/12th of August. Still using the momentum filters. There is a lot of time for this pair to get there, so shorting in both direction is on cards with my sentiment to the north, until the middle of the next week.
The chart with the coloured numbers, is my Delta count, a historic count of Hs and Ls on different TF.
I do not have an exact PT, but I think that the indicated zone, if reached shall be of interest to me, as I shall consider shorting down from it.
