Hello guys,

I know some people here hate me.. just helping some people. I'm close my position. Not quite happy with the movement. but i'm happy with my trade at GBP/JPY with 120 pips.

My view on GU today,

Its likely to go up 1.7 as predicted yesterday. Price like to play at 50% fib lines.. that's a good support. Maybe it may go down first around 1.6900.. better wait down first and then buy.

This one could go either way, although the trend is still up...

If it breaks the lower support then it could run to 840, then 740...before a good long.

I'm fairly new to trading but I am noticing that if you draw a fib from the top around 2.0 down to the most lowest 1.35 point, the daily has broken the 38.2% retracement and half-way up to the 50%. I would like opinions . . . does it not seem logical for it to continue towards the 50% retrace?

Teach me please.

You're absolutely right. It is logical to think that it will continue to the 50% level eventually. However, it is difficult to tell if price will fall to 1.68 or lower first before continuing up or if it will trade in a range before breaking above 1.70, just like it did for previous weeks trading in a range from 1.60-1.65.


Btw, the highest point is about 2.11+.

I really think it will go toward 1.7000 above. And If you want to wait to get back to 1.6800 it may take you a weeks. All the GBP news are very good result at this moment and afterward.

Please check on what happened on G/U on 3 may 2006. Try attached the 21 and 50 sma Moving average WEEKLY chart. At this time, I can tell you the buying pressure is very big one. The retracement will absolute small..

I have short one, and I wont regret If I close it rather losing all my money.

90% is toward 1.7000
10% is toward 1.6800

Thanks guys.. sorry not my style to show any fancy chart to express my view. It may confuse people because mostly the only one who understand the chart is owner itself. To be frank, its doesn't help me at all. BUT some chart also helping people. I must agree with that.

But when attach 21 and 50 sma to monthly chart, it looks like the G/U is a downtrend mode. So I am also not sure about this. Maybe during NFP this friday, it will bring G/U spike to 1.6700 probably..

God only knows..

I think the move that G/U made from last week thursday, no retracement or in other words - NO Profit taking activity made by traders OR the pound is still inside the bank and never be withdraw by large bank yet.

Very weird, why does no one take profit by this spike...
Maybe the people just wait to reach more high price...
