I took the price because of the time of day it was. We had started to flatten out on the m15. Price was rejected everytime it went up into the 696x-697x area after the 6990 run. So, I set a PO, following the PA on the m15 and using the h1 pin we got as well. I like to sell/buy on the wicks of pins. Sometimes I'll miss the boat by waiting, others, I just get a better price with less draw down. I think I had a 5pip draw down on my current short on GU. If I get taken out now, so beit, I've made good pippage and covered at BE on the remaining position....
Thanks EO. I hadn't considered the time of day. I did see it flatten out (like many times today) but with todays bull run, Didn't take the chance...lol

Actually, the collapse took down my company last January, so I needed to do something. As it turns out, I really love this and wish I had started sooner. So in the long run I think it's a good thing.

Congratulation on. Only a few of us can stay on this stage that long and practise - I will be one of them, but at least 2 or 3 mre years is in front of me so it is good to lisen story like yours or Chris. Thank`s for that

Btw, do we have Harami on 4H chart? Does it mean anything for us?

If you watch the price enough everyday, you'll see that she does it pretty much everyday like this. There's no need to play the breakout in the morning of the US Session if you don't know what your doing. Wait for the fireworks to slow down, then get yourself a nice little range to play tennis with.

It it a business and, sometimes businesses take a while to be successful.

Not been trading for that long, I'm up nicely, used to trade Stocks 6years back full time, before I stupidly took on some work and blew the account in a market turn trading options

Forex coming up for 5years, but with fund limitations and a business to run and generally being lazy I've not really devoted much time to until the last few months really.

GU going up, arrghhh!!! expected though!!

I learned a lot about S/R & PA from J16 (studied it for months). Because of my situation, I had to adapt it from weekly & daily down to 4H & 1H so that's what I've been trading mostly. When we got into those really tight ranges a couple weeks back I discovered I needed to learn lower TF's so I could catch smaller moves as well as dial in good entries for larger ones.

This morning I had two nice longs on EU & GU that paid very well. I saw many flat setions in GU on 15M and every one of the suckers went bull again...lol I was still holding my others but I did keep expecting it to turn on one or more of them.

If you understand higher time frames, then you can get our method down rather quickly.

Only 1 trade today, EJ Long just for 16pips.

I was hoping for lower to go long, expect a SL break under 1.6900

I know your not a rookie bro! Mistakes happen though. Good job on the EJ long. I've been having fun with her all afternoon. I still have on GU long on the table from 6700 covered at +50, but my shorts are prepared to go marching to take it out if price decides to break south. Otherwise, I'll add to my long position. 1.70 will not be an easy break in my eyes.

That's the goal and I thank you for openly sharing it.

Each weekend I'll tick through back data one 15M bar at a time practicing trades. Biggest thing I have to do is get a handle on all the floating S/R MA's and thier significance. The PDF I read at night at the end of US. Get a couple hours sleep and get up at 1:00 for the last two hours of Asia into UK.
