Ohhhh GREAT FXCM have screwed it up AGAIN, new update all works fine, exit FXCM then try to reload it get a error.

Uninstall and Reinstall time, every major update they do they cock it up.


ARRGGHHHH!!!
Nothing to it, but to do it!!! Stick to the plan FOOL!!!!

Alpari have just done the same........

If they had sent a packet of complementary razor blades I could have slit my wrists and had more fun....

I updated mine yesterday was no probs.

Alpari updated the MT4 platform I use on Demo just for charts ago totally cocked it up, when sorted delete the Update program in the install folder.

Will try FXCM update on my other 2 Laptops and see if they both do the same!!

for what it is worth, I have shorted cable just at 00, I felt it had broken through, and even though there is a support level at 6384 that it will go through that.

For my money the hourly says sell, the daily says sell, at present being 20 pips on the wrong side of a position just taken, dont feel to comfortable, stop at 6446.

I may have to go out to work tomorrow, expect the trade will be on for some hours, and expecting the unexpected....

I am not beyond adding to a losing position, it seems a big no no to many, however I have used this many times to haul myself out of trouble, the reasoning being I have a good entry based on longer term time frames, and this is a better entry, with a tight stop on the second entry....

Install over the top fixes it atleast short term and GJ has a spread of 5.2 currently, EJ 2.9 , GU a record breaking 1.8 ( normally 2.8 )

I have multiple buy / short points to, which don't invalidate the trend so there just better prices to trade at and no reason to panic.

Yes when SL hits it hurts alot, but when 3 orders rock it 100pips average it's all worth it

Oh man, music to my ears, I have been schooled in the tight stop, and 2% rule, and never got anywhere untill I got a bigger account, lostened the stops and traded longer term...

On the demo account my father freaks out as I will risk 10,000.00 to make 5000.00, can afford to with deeper demo pockets, and more often than not can make money, any way the point being he risked 10,000 in a finance company for 9.3% paid quarterly over 18 months... he lost the lot.... but I am the risk taker??? I mirror trade my demo and real accounts, but the mirror is warped the demo account always makes more...for several reasons, I closed the real one the other night got a requote missed it to close the demo account and lost a packet, it hurt...

I shorted at 61, its a really unusual feeling to be on the right side of a trade (at the moment)
