Also if your picking tops / bottoms it's very easy to get trapped, thinking the next bottom is THEE bottom and so on and so forth, where as your exit is easy, trend changes odds are it won't change again any time soon so get the hell outta dodge reverse your trade and be cool!!!

I got out 50% +20 25% +15 and 25% +5stop and i'm looking for a retest of the trendline.

I only pick tops and bottoms when price moves very fast towards s/r, especially good during news for intraday highs and lows.

If this trend breaks I'll expect a bounce on 13428.

Many cases in the last week has been great for this, for example microsoft earning I went long after the spike lower.

So, to sum up,

fast moves + news = good for tops and bottoms,
fast moves = ok for tops and bottoms.

Anyways time to get long again.

ps: for the 4hour head and shoulders on cable, watch the ascending neckline.

pps: ej testing daily downtrend which broke last week.

EJ turning up here, 134.90 ( 100smma ) target.

I'll wait 45mins or so for the americans to wake up and work out what there doing for the day.

Finally and long entry signal: Potential Tweezer Bottom's on the Upper Trend Line on the GU 1 hour - Think I'll enter long for 20 to 30 pips - Any thoughts?

Turns out that sell in blue square wasn't so high risk,lol
But bears can only win if a lower low is put in.
Bearish engulfing into support on H4 which need confirmation ,no space ,but I certainly wouldn't buy from this point.
Price is still over the D1 rising trendline...

TP1-25%: 75
TP2-50%: 95
TP3-25%: Trailing on full bodied green 5minute thrust candles.

Edit: 5minute downtrend, take 30% there and 20% TP2 instead.

Forgot to mention why I am waiting for the above post to play out first before loading Shorts.

The movers know that "everyman and his dog" who went short have stops very close to the possible right shoulder. It wouldnt take much for them to just spike through and trigger the stops before falling.

My finger is on the trigger for shorts either way: a spike above todays high or a 4hr close below rising TL/neckline....

I favour the spike senario because I know just how crafty the bast*rds can be lol.

I prefer to only play it safe and only trade with the longer term direction as spelled out by my system.

Yes I miss out on some trades, but as there mainly losers it's not a bad thing

EJ and GU turned back down here, 100SMMA trend down holding!!

Has pulled back ,but could well be bearish still ,I need this puppy to break up could be pull back after break out.
Price unable to close within previous candle.
Bullish divergence.

took short @ 6498 with sl 12 pips, i think it could go to near 6400 or at least 6440. I think there will be a bigger bounce up when eur/usd touches 4200, which is quite big resistance point from there to buy, and at that moment gbp could go higher, stocks&oil at the moment support this down way opinion, but of course it can easily change in fast pace.
