Reminds me of MARKAM'S repeated holicaustic warnings when the GBP/JPY was at 240-250 that were mostly ignored and scoffed at in the Auslanco's thread all through the summer and fall of '07 that then prophetically came to pass with the freefall late that year.

I'm curious, in retrospect (through backtesting) was the beginning of the 10,000 pip plunge of the GJ made transparently obvious by the VSA charts of '07?

Can any buddy predict market is going down or it looks up where to make entry

Does somebody know what Options Maturity imply? For example, today we had

EUR/USD (didn't find for GBP)
1,42 - 150 M
1,4015 - 150 M
1,4250 - 200M
(Source: Oanda FXNews)

Should we watch those levels? And if reached how will price react?

Yes I was just looking at the EJ. It did move nicely today. Some good oppertunities. Thanks buddy.

In general EJ has doube the range on moves of the GU, much better as a trend tool, GU is better as a Chop tool though.

Screw up on the direction of EJ and it'll trample you, do the same on GU and it'll atleast give you a chance.

the weakness in GU was very clear using the gbp futures ..... here it is

now we have seen very high volume last month Gbp futures ... highest in 4 years on a low spread weekly.

This could take 3 - 6 months even to work out but the weakness is present basedo n this . I imagine that the time frame for drop will be before Dec of this year.

I don't recall that but hey, the Y & U are right next to each other and these old carpenter fingers never could type well so it must have been a typo...LOL

so the news spike of 50 pip did not shake you out of trade ? all profit gone in blink of eye and if you had stop at break even stopped out before it continued journey down ...

I wonder if Bernanke opening his YAP will spur some movement? I always avoid trading around the news but after today.........might just try to...LOL

No don't trade news, you've got very limited control as it can jump 50pips in seconds then reverse then reverse again, total mugs game.

And SL's are often exceeded hugely, some bloke went from +40 to -120 pips inside 1 second, straight stop out at the worse price.

Mate got SL hit, but next tick the market was back above its start so closed with a small profit, woulda made 100+ pips easy to sucks!!
