Have you ever heard the moto "don't fight the fed" ?

It's all over 2003 again

Here what's going on imho

Rates are at their lowest point, this gives almost free money.
What do you do with free money (not you and me, but people that have access to it) ?

Yep you guessed it right, you go and speculate in the markets with that free money, building bubbles.
Like in 2003, this will not be stopped before we get a clear signal that a rate hike cycle is about to begin.
And helicopter Ben said clearly that we've got a long time before rates will move... bring on more free money, and more speculation.

It's mechanical, not logical !
The fed can't move the rates they're trapped, big time...

Markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent, don't fight the fed, people

Don't expect equities to crash, hot air is in unlimited supply and for a long period.

Talking about longer trend direction here, not daytrade wiggles.

Just my 2 cents...

Yap most people are trained to buy low sell high and vice versa. Thats why most people look for reversal instead of following trends.

Watch for a trend to form and jump in.

Higher highs and higher lows

OR

Lower lows and lower highs

Hardest part is to wait for the trend to emerge...

After last week us dollar index closing below 80, I'm not seeing a reaction...
It even reached now lows.

You could be right, a cross back above 80, would alert me of that possibility.
But for now I'll go with the trend, until it bends...

14220 appears to have buyers. Are they strong ?
They've stopped it 4 times in the past 1/2 hour
from plowing into the daily PP. I think they'll let it pop up
and then force it down. Daily candle is still slightly bullish
lower TFs look weaker for the time being.

It still takes selling to force a market lower.
Selling + a lack of fresh buying = lower price.
We still don't have it yet.

RETANGULAR: Let's see if we might get a little support here...somewhere around 50SMA or 89SMA...at least for few hours.

We're at cross roads. Eurusd threatening a nice daily trendline breakout.

Market needs time to gather strength, but so far no swift rejection, should have the bears on high alert. The longer we stay there, the more powerful the break.


Either way...


There is plenty of small signs, but as always, it will be obvious once it happened.
