The spike was caused by the DAX gapping up on open. it had a happy half hour then retraced 50%.

Ok, I believe is the time to short now. It has exceeded daily ATR and New York is not open yet (there is not much meat left to trade long) .. The last 15 min bar has a very high volume, could be a stopping bar

1.650 is holding. waiting to see if we drop back below the daily utl on the 4H. then I'd potentially short... still flat.

I got more sad news. I was short GBP/USD since friday and my TP was 1.6250 but it went down only to about 1.6260-65 so I wasn't home all day today and when I came back I was -80 pips, ouch that hurts especially when you know you were sooo close to money.

Wish you could cover the loss and reach your target, me too I was short @ 1.6451 since last Thursday my TP is 1.5900, and my SL @ BE, now it hit SL @ BE

Situation re-accessed......move on now. Trend is definitely up since my mention breakout levels.... EUR might stall around 1.4260 and cable 1.6550.

there will be a retrace soon, but i suggest you keep your eyes there and get out be4 it go up more.

Weekly chart shows uptrend for me.

I short E/U @ 4234 also.

Thank you pino2 and Bull Bear for cheering me up. Its always nice to work with people that accept you and give you advices.

Angelina thank you for the updates, I accepted the loss and got back 1/4th of it already and not really crying at all or anything.
