From my experience, it should be going down Navin, it couldn't go up this whole week despite lots of good news from US and all the indices breaking barriers after a long time. Also, don't forget UK stats AND swine flu pandemic hitting uk.

It will hover around 6000-6600 area until end of august when real traders come into the picture and it will go nasty :-)

If you are long or short it will come back to it's place apparently. But this is only till august.

please dont think its the ema on there own...it works on all time frames....the higher the better u have to look for confluence..nothing works on its own

Have exited 7 of 8 longs at good profit (from 23.6% fib to 38.2% long retrace of above chart) and left one open with stop at BE+2.

i will tell u something ...i dont pay any attention to news as far as im concerned everything is priced in, u just need to trade a time frame where news cannot affect your view..

if u trade 5 minutes or 1 hr u have to take news into account but if your trading weekly or monthly..will news affects be seen?

This will probably be my last post as I'll try to be coherent as possible. I still have down signal for Cable and EUR.

EUR is meet by 1.4130 resistance and Cable 1.6380.

Just sold Cable @ 1.6350 too by the way.... SL 1.6380.... TP 1.6200/20

I certainly pay attention to news, not institutional but gov one. Not sure if you remember news coming from fed in march changed whole scenerio for cable and the dollar?

Even the banks and hedge funds do that (who am I) and the proof is activity around the news time.
You and me and several other retail traders can't move the daily 3 trillion dollar forex market charts around news :-)

I trade daily charts. Have been doing it from a while :-)
