Actually.. I just closed a 100 pip long on gu..and 180 pips long on gj... flat now..

That breakout pattern i posted has been around a long time. I dug deep in the files to find those rules.

In retro it looks like yeah the trades are obvious but i traded this pattern today and did very well on it. I took all but one of those trades, hesitated and missed 1 short.

This pattern has not developed in several months and I am a little rusty! Still living off the profits from trading it last fall.

It also signals to me that this down move is gaining momentum.

Back to the 15m charts now!

Here's a weekly chart I have been looking on, with the reversal candlestick patterns. This doesn't occur frequently on the weekly charts , so I wonder, a strong reject from the 38.2 fib and back down? Time will tell, I continue to trade intra-day, so will trade as per intra-day direction.

On the touch because sometimes it moves back like it has touched a hot iron.. sometimes you may even enter a bit prior to line depending on the price action at times it doesn't actually touch.

It may be lying near a strong S/R area or other place of interest. Like the other Ma's they are just guides to help us see the price action.. Hope this helps..

Turtle and I talked about this same scenario tonight. Like you further said though, we trade intra-day and take her how ever she presents herself at the time.

Ken Lee had an excellent response to your question. Here's some fine tuning that I look at as well. As the h1's develop and we get closer to the h1 62/50, I'm not so willing to take it on the price or the touch. I find that many times, the h1 might close through it with a little top wick (the m15 can show us an entry either 15m prior to the h1 close or 15m-30m after the h1 closes) at this point, with the following h1 candle to respond rather than when she touches it (SL are tight with an eye for her to confirm the break of the region and a willingness to reverse our position. We're consolidating near it now, I have a TP set there and I'll also be evaluating my short position from there. 6140 appears to be in our cards, should she hold, I'll add to my short position, other wise, 6140 releases us to 618x and possibly 622x.

Outstanding brother! I've still got my position from 5999 open and running targeting 6140 then from there we'll see. I would like to add to my short position, but want to make sure it's not too early.

Anybody get in long at 6082? That was a sweet price. Hit couple of times on my feed. She needs to break 6100 to continue the northern move, I can see this though with how well 6180 held up.

I would book 10 and cover at BE right now if I took this trade.

6120 - 6140 are the areas I'd have in sight for tp on the long from 6082. Could get stopped out at BE, but the position booked profit and wouldn't be a losser. Sellers are here, but we have bullish h1's and bullish h4's and coming off the 598x area. I would have liked to have seen 5973 or lower.
