Good job bro! Web cam is off! So am I. I'll be back during late Asia/London Open. I've got guys night out tonight. Longs are covered and shorts are covered.

I guess I need to work on holding my trades longer as well since my shorts started last week.

You hold those shorts much longer and you might have to pay taxes on them before you settle them.

This trade set up takes advantage of the nature of the market. Price breaks up or down, finds support or resistance, pulls back and sellers or buyers come in and drives price further up or down. It is dependent on picking up momentum after a strong breakout. It is usually over in a couple of hours.

It is a basic stair step pattern that develops on the 5m chart when a strong breakout happens like today.

Rules

1/ New York session only
needs to gain a lot of momentum to develop and this is when the players are available.

2/ 5m chart only with the 10ema as support or resistance.

3/ After a breakout look for 3 to 5 moves up or down, if the 4th leg up or down fails to break higher or lower then the 3rd it is a reversal signal.
Reverse and start closing your trades and taking profit starting with the most recent.

4/ If the 4th run up or down breaks higher or lower then the 3rd leg look for a 5th move down and price to continue in the direction of the breakout.
If there has been 5 moves down do not look for a reversal but look for price to fade off in the direction of the breakout until end of session.
