No, I don't think that's correct. This thing has broken 21EMA on the daily for the first time in months. No question about it, its heading down, but I would not rule out moving up a bit. As long as we are below 1.6430 short. Above it stay way to short it higher. 1.6320 can be broken easily and it would not violate the down move. Asia is just noise on this currency. Looking to short anywhere from 1.6310-1.6420.

I'm also looking for a short at 1.6320 on a gap fill + down sloping trend line resistance. Could be for a quick scalp if PA doesn't show that this thing wanna tank.
Just occurred to me, we may all be right. I am looking at the entry on the 15min (backed up by the 1 and 4 hr). So, I dont need it to close at 1.6320, I just need it to touch it, maybe tease it or fondle it even Then, the one hour can go ahead and close at 1.2000 after that, and it will be fine by me. Then, everybody happy!

I am short everything right now ...all stops in place , gu , gj , oil , long faz , dxd short es . You get the picture

here is the gbp weekly futures and dx (USD) index daily


this week could see bid drop in markets ... if not this week withing 2-3 weeks

1st chart dx shows stopping volume off 80 .. very classic bullish reversal pattern

2nd is gbp futures .... they show MAJOR weakness on the weekly.

long / short is ok if scalping , this post is for swing traders

I am showing a close at 1.6288 on the hourly. I know you are short already, so I hope this plays out for you. Good luck, I will be watching for the moment, but leaving my order in place.

1.5778 will be a major support to break any major sell off, breaking this will be tough and might send GU back to 1.6660 for a consolidation move before the actual sell off
