... just less than expected. The figures for GBP are actually ok considering the financial climate and sentiment in the UK. I would consider another reason to short, not the reports that have been released so far.

Looks like consolidation for now with a possible move North when US opens. For now, cable has completed just over half of its daily range, and is currently in the middle of the range. Looking for technical levels to go long as there are no important news reports today.

Just because the figures are painted in red, doesn't necessarily mean that the news is bad, just that they are less than expected. As with all news reports, they need to be taken into context and matched with technical levels.

I believe long is the safer option for the moment, however I am reserving entry for US open.
